'These dinners should become a tradition' Tim suggested.
'Yes, I'm agree. - Jimmy added - Once a month'. Nick nodded.
'That's a good idea, guys. But the following months will be a little different' 'Nick!' 'Sorry, baby' 'What are you talking about?' Jack asked. 'Yes, I'm curious' Delilah said. 'Well, we were supposed to wait till the end of the dinner. - Ellie replied, looking at Nick - But we can say it now too. We will happy to have you here at dinner, all of us'.
Saying that, she stood up and leaned an hand on her stomach. Delilah smiled. 'Ellie!'.
Bishop looked around her, seeing her second family being so happy for her. 'It's a wonderful news. - Vance stated - Gibbs, did you already know that?' 'Yes' 'Of course you did'.
'So, it will be a girl or a boy?' Abby asked. 'We don't know it' Ellie replied.
'Well, it's already part of the family' Clayton stated. 'Thanks, Clay. That's so sweet'. 'My little Ellie' he said, hugging her friend.
'If it's a boy, Clayton it's an option' 'Yes!' 'What?!' Nick asked.
'It's a wonderful name, Nick. And we will consider it' 'Don't contradict her, Nick' Tim suggested. 'Right, McGee. Thanks for the suggestion. Now we should end the dinner'
'Right, it deserves it' Jack added.
After the dessert, the team was chatting and laughing, when Nick stood up, fixing the jacket.
He quickly glanced at Tim, who slightly nodded.
'Nick, baby, what are you doing?' 'I have to say something' 'Uhm, okay'
'Stand up, Ellie' he suggested, holding her hand.
She got up, letting see her red dress.
'You're wonderful, tonight' 'Thanks'.
'I wanna say in front of our co-workers, our friends, our family, how much I love you. You really changed my life, you made me become a better man, and you will make me become a father'.
'Nick, I love you too'
'You're a friend, you're my lover, and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you'.
He got down on his knee.
'Eleanor Bishop, will you marry me?'.
Ellie was silent, looking at the ring Nick had in his hands, while the others were waiting for her answer. She sighed, and her eyes became tearful. Nick was a little worried, but then he saw her nodding.
'Is it... is it a yes?' 'Yes' she said, starting to cry.
He got up, settled the ring and then kissed his fiancée.
The team clapped for the wonderful scene. Ellie tightly hugged him, and a few tears dropped on Nick's jacket.
'Ellie, why are you crying?' 'I'm so happy, I...' 'You're wonderful' he said, caressing her face with both of his hands.
She leaned on Nick and quickly glanced at her finger ring.
'And did you know something about this, guys?'. They shook their heads, except for Tim who looked at his feet. 'Tim...'. 'It's that...you were with me in my important moments, and I wanted to do something for you'.
'Thanks'.
'Yes, thanks, Tim. Really'. Nick glanced at Ellie, still cuddled up on him.
'My little B.' he stated, placing a kiss on her hair.
