"Your plan was a success, and you have a bonus of a recording of it, let's go," Jason heard Arya huff impatiently at him.
He knew she wanted to leave; but, Jason was to fascinated with studying how much his older brother's physical appearance had changed.
Dick still had the same clean-shaven jaw, jet black hair which was now slightly graying around the edges of his face. The small wrinkle-lines near his mouth from laughing (or smirking) so often.
None of these were what was catching Jason's attention. It was the almost indistinqushable posture of defeat that he had had when Jason was in the shadows, a posture which spoke of pain and sadness.
"Damn you Dick," Jason quietly told the limp hero,"You always were good at masking your pain behind a smile and a snarky comment."
Arya stamped her foot in frustration, it was quiet, too quiet on the roof, it was making her uneasy, "We have to go!"
"On the contrary," a dark figure stepped out of the shadows, "Your not going anywhere."
Jason smiled humourously to himself, It's about time Bruce showed up. I was beginning to think the old man wasn't coming.
"Batman, what a surprise," Jason greeted the dark Knight sardonically.
"I'm taking you in Red Hood," Batman stated emotionless tone, his hand going towards his utility belt almost causally as he reached for his bat-a-rangs.
Jason laughed darkly Really Brucie? Whipping out his gun he aimed it directly at Bruce's head, "We can't have that, now can we?"
Batman's hand froze, hovering just above the weapon, "That's better Batsy."
"Hood, listen, we can help you--" Batman began to say only to be ruthlessly cut off my Jason's savage retort.
"Like you helped the second Robin? You should really take better care of your birdies," He sneered.
Batman winced. Putting up his hands in a calming gesture he slowly began making his way towards the sneering villain.
"One more step Bats and I'll blow your fucking brains out," Jason cocked the gun.
    "LANGUAGE!" Arya shrieked at him.
Behind his mask Jason's face dead-panned, was she seriously bringing that up right now?!
Without taking his eyes of Bruce, Jason gestured at Arya to get behind him; she come towards him,, but as she did she stopped halfway looking hesitantly at Batman.
Her eyes widened in pain and shock as she crumpled to the ground.
Nightwing had come to while Batman and Red Hood had been having their little impasse; so when the eleven year old had walked by his 'unconscious' body he lunged upwards striking the back of her head with one of his escrimas.
Running to the edge of the building, Nightwing began working on freeing his two younger brothers from their.. predicament.
Jason clenched his jaw in anger at seeing Dick knocking out his little girl, If she gets a concussion I'll beat the living shit out of Dickiebird!
Seeing that the Hood was momentarily distracted, Batman rolled out of the gun's sights.
Bruce twisted out of the way of Jason's fist, sweeping the Red Hood's legs from under him in the process with one smooth motion.
Once Red Hood fell, Batman leapt forwards, jumping on him to try an immobilize the murderous villain.
As soon as Batman jumped on him Jason slammed his head into Bruce's, making him stumble back a few steps, he then followed the head-but with a kick to Bruce's stomach, giving Jason enough time to flip into a crouched position.
Skidding back a few feet Jason landed with one hand on the ground to steady himself.
That's more like it Bruce! Jason thought to himself, as he tossed two grenades at the Bat.
The dark knight easily avoided these and threw a bat-a-rang at the hand Jason was holding his gun in; ripping the weapon from Jason's grip and sending it clattering to the ground.
"Aww damn," Jason grimaced at the loss of his gun.
"Time to improvise" he stated to himself.  Seeing that Nightwing had managed to free the two Robins and that they were now running towards him, Jason added, "a lot!"
Just as the Red Robin reached him Jason side-stepped, grabbing the young hero by his shoulders he used Red Robin's own momentum to send him crashing him to the ground.
Where's Dickiebird? He could of sworn he had been right behind Red Robin..
There he is! Nightwing's shadow gave him away, seeing the shadow move, Jason ducked; barely missing being hit by the foot that passed over were his head had been seconds before.
The Red Hood turned to face Dick blocking the rapid kicks and punches sent his way.
What Jason didn't realize or even contemplate was that Nightwing was just the distraction,he didn't see Batman closing in on him. He hadn't seen when Robin had whispered to Nightwing through comm-link.
Batman's harsh kick to the back of his leg along with a punch to his lower back made Jason fall on to his knees.
As he attempted to stand back up Nightwing used the same move he had used earlier on Arya, a quick blow to the back of Jason's head sent him sprawling on the roof's floor.
As Jason fought to keep his eyes open he felt someone slip his helmet off his face.
"JASON?!!!?"  Bruce's voice echoed in shock, that was the last thing he heard before he let the darkness take him.
