Eunwoo's Pov:

I sat waiting for Moonbin is the cafe across the street from school. It's been almost a week since we had last spoken since our text messages. I've tried to go up and talk to him, but he'd turn the other way, or pretend he did hear me when I called for him. Me and Moonbin weren't all that close yet anyhow, but I'd thought that he'd have the decency to at least talk to me about this whole thing. 

I texted him earlier today telling him that I would be at a cafe near the school at 3 and that I need to talk to him. It is now 3:30 and there has been no sign of him. 

I probably look like a weirdo who just got stood up because I kept looking down at my phone every five minutes. I kinda felt like one too. 

At 3:45 I decided that I would just go home, because he obviously wasn't going to come. I packed up my stuff, paid for my food, and left the cafe. 

'I can't believe he didn't come,' I thought to myself as I started walking back home. 'Maybe it was stupid of me to even think he was going to come.' I said to myself as I walked past the school. 

I was too busy with my thoughts to notice that there was someone else walking towards me. 

We bumped into each other and fell to the ground. Unlucky for me though, I ended up being crushed by the person who fell on top of me. 

"Oof," I groaned as I landed on my back. "Shoot, I'm really sorry.....Eunwoo?"  

I looked up as I heard my name being called. 

"M-moonbin..." I said. I could feel the blush form on my face from how close out faces were. Our noses were only inches apart. "Hi," I said in a whisper as I stared into his eyes. They are such a deep brown color that they were almost black, it felt like they were staring into my soul

We continued to stare at each other until Moonbin finally got up. "Hey sorry. I was just on my way to meet you," He said while looking at the ground. "It's okay," I said as I got up, wiping the dirt from my clothes, "If you don't mind me asking, why were you late?"

"Oh, I got caught up after school. I was on my way to the cafe when I realized that I had left my homework in one of my classes, so I went back, but the door was locked, so I had to find a janitor, and yea," he explained, still looking at the ground. "Oh, okay."

Neither of us talked after that. Moonbin was still looking at the ground and I was trying to look at anything besides him. Finally, he broke the silence. "So what did you want to talk about?" He questioned, but still didn't raise his head. "Well, um," I knew what I wanted to talk about, I just didn't know how to ask it. "I just wanted to ask why you've been avoiding me?" I whispered, not even sure he heard me

But I'm assuming he did, because his head finally snapped up to look at me, but I was the one looking at the ground. "What?"

"I said," I raised my head to stare at him, "Why have you been avoiding me?" I asked once again. "I haven't," he said. "Yes you have! After I texted you about my wrist band changing blue last week, you have been avoiding me ever since, and I want to know why," I said, my voice getting louder at the end. It made me mad that he was acting as if he hadn't been avoiding me. 

"Eunwoo-" He started, but I cut him off. "No, you're acting as if I just confessed that I loved you. All I did was tell you that my wrist band had changed colors from white to blue. I said that you MIGHT be the reason as you were the last person I talked to before I went home. I don't understand what you're problem is?" I screamed at him. His face turned into a frown, but I couldn't care less. I was fuming and I couldn't stop. 

"You told me that you're band was blue too right? So you can't be mad at me for this, because if our bands changed colors because of each other, than were both to blame. So tell me Moonbin. What. the. hell. is. your. problem?"

I don't know why I was so mad that this moment. Maybe it's because of all the stress that built up and I've finally burst. Or maybe it's because I know that Moonbin is the reason the band on my wrist changed colors and it hurts to know that he is avoiding. 

I finally look at Moonbin's face and I freeze, because while I was ranting I hadn't noticed that Moonbin had moved closer to me. When I turned my head to look at him, his face was inches from mine, so close that I could feel his breath on my face. 

"Can I speak now?" He asked in low, raspy tone. I couldn't respond so I just nodded. 

"Eunwoo, the reason why I have been 'avoiding' you isn't because of the stupid band color, but because I can't talk to you, or look at you without feeling butterflies in my stomach," He said, not taking his eyes off of mine. "Even being this close to you is to much for me, because right now, I really want to kiss you." He said as he leaned in closer. 

At this point our breaths were being intertwined and I could practically feel his lips on mine. I held my breath as he got closer, our lips were only centimeters apart now, and just when I thought he was going to kiss me, he swerved his head to the right and whispered in my ear. 

"But I can't do it now, because it's to expected. I'd have to do it when you aren't expecting it," and with that he walked away. 

I finally breathed out the air that I was holding in before replaying everything that just happened. 

'What the hell was that,' I thought as I started to walk home, but my thoughts were interrupted by a text.

Hello Hoomans. How are y'all today? 

I got my wisdom teeth taken out a couple of days ago and I'm not allowed to eat solids so i've been eating mashed potatoes for the past 3 days haha

But anyways, this is the longest part I have written so far. I feel like this story may be progressing to fast, but o'well. This part might be edited because I wrote most of it while I was doped up on pain meds, so if some parts don't make sense, i'm sorry. 

But, I hope whoever is reading this has a nice day/night
