SOHAM POV
"Don't open your mouth much, nod to whatever our lawyer says . Don't interrupt and most importantly don't speak about anything" my dad instructed while I nodded my head. I was present here physically but my mind goes back to her everytime.
What might be she doing now ?
"Soham?" My dad spoke while I looked at him.
"You have been here since six months. I am sorry beta. I am not able to get you out even though I am well known business man " he said looking down.
"What I did is right. If I get punished for it I don't mind. Because I am here because someone else is wrong. I am not feeling guilty at all because I have done what I had to do. Don't ever feel bad. Society doesn't matter for me dad , it's my life , my choice and I am happy about it. Go home now. Sleep well. I will come back. Don't worry" I said touching the glass which is separating us.
"Your hearing is postponed to tomorrow, Aahana's dad volunteered to accompany me. We will be waiting for you" dad spoke placing his phone back.
Aahana !
My dad is a well known business man, he is not socially active neither I am. We don't throw huge parties or attend ones in order to maintain our reputation. We do our business correctly and donate as much as we can. No one knows that I am in jail and if someone knows I don't care. But dad might face some problems in business which I am sure will cost high.
"Your time is over ! Get back" jailer shouted while I looked at him.
No one knows who is Soham. How he looks or where is he as dad wanted much attention I was never in limelight. Even someone sees me here I am sure later in life they won't point their finger at me as I am big business tycoon's son who can't get arrested at all.
Law is law and its applicable to all!
"Dude ! So tomorrow deciding day huh?" My partner questioned.
"Deciding or not I don't care but it's going to be interesting" I replied closing my eyes.
Aahana !
I hope she comes tomorrow!
I stood there handcuffed looking at my dad who had sweat on his forehead and tension all over his face. Aahana's dad I guess assuring him everything will be alright while my lawyer was busing arguing case on my behalf. I knew this time there won't be much difference. I will be in there for few more months.
Where are you aahana?
Just then I saw someone entering the room quietly trying not to get much attention. She sat beside my dad holding his hand.
My Aahana!
I am going to win this case !
I had this intuition that if she comes I will win this case if not I won't. I might sound silly but I was just playing with my lucky stars.
"How can you prove that his intentions were not criminal? Prove this point, I will release him." Judge spoke while my lawyer looked at my dad.
"Your honour, I would like to show you some papers which indicate that this was all planned and my client was unnecessarily hooked up in it. He's framed" my lawyer spoke handing him some papers.
I saw Aahana joining her hand together praying by closing her eyes. I could see tears were falling from one of her eyes.
Is she crying for me??
"Considering all the evidences shown to me, I am going to order that Mr. Soham is given punishment to serve for four more months." Words from judge suddenly made their way to my senses. I looked at her which shows relief spread all over her face.
My dad was smiling widely while hugging her father who was asking Aahana not to cry, I was taken by the jailer and my dad nodded his head at me. I wanted her to look at me atleast once but before I could see her face I am taken away from there. I sat in my cell looking at the wall in front of me.
Why haven't I seen her in that way all these years?
"Did she come?" My partner questioned me.
"She did" I replied.
"Is she married?" He asked me
"No I assume" I replied.
"What if she gets married?" He asked me.
"Then that's the end of my story" I said laughing a bit.
"How much do you love her?" He asked me.
"I don't know. I have never been there, I can't explain how, why, when all I can say is, I have found someone whom I feel is written to be with me." I replied.
"Did she ever talk with you?" He asked me.
"No. She never did" I replied.
I clearly remember the day when I first met her. Both were from same college, her friend wanted to be friends with me and she accompanied her. Aahana stood there looking at me while her friend talked animatedly about some random topic. She was too silent but I liked the way she looked.
"I am going to be released in two weeks. Should I take these tests seriously?" He questioned me.
"Congratulations" I said.
"Should I?" He questioned me.
"I don't know about you, I am going to take my exams seriously" I replied.
"I will fail! Maths is so difficult! M glad I passed my tenth grade" he replied.
"I am going to fail too" I said.
"You will never ! It's like you are born to solve problems" he said.
"If I don't I wont be able to see her again" I said.
"That's true!" He replied.
She knows I won't fail in her subject , if I do then she will wonder why I did just like how I am wondering about her crying for me. No matter how much I try, I just can't take that scene out of my head.
Is she also in love with me?
