Dear diary, My name's Star, just Star. I don't have a last name. When I was found in 2007 the note only said my name was Star, or atleast that's all I've been told.
It's my birthday today. Well, not really my birthday, just the day they found me. Anyway, I'm 3. Normally on my birthday I get 1 present, my present this year was you, my diary. I've been told I should write an entry everyday so when I'm older I can look back and remember my childhood. Not that there's anything really worth remembering, nothing really exciting has ever happened to me.
well, I can't really think of anything else to write, so here's some stuff about me:
I live in a big, victorian style house with lots of other kids. It's called Mulberry Garden, there's a big sign outside saying it.
I can write and read fluently as I have a personal tutor who comes for 3 hours everyday, apart from sunday. Her names Miss Tilly. She's nice and gives me a Smartie if I get something right, but If I'm nuaghty then she puts a frowny sticker on special chart.
I used to have a best friend called Ocean but she left to go to a different house. My house is only for young children. When you turn 4 you have to move to a different house with big girls and boys.
I have blonde hair and blue eyes and I like wearing white dresses with flowers on.
I like some songs by a band but I can't remember what they're called. I think It's a letter then a number. They have a song called Ready Set Rock that I like.

Dear diary, It's Christmas today. We did the same thing we normally do. We are all woken up at 9 and we eat breakfast. Then we watch some Christmas movie on TV until lunch.
For lunch we eat turkey with roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli and sprouts. If we eat all of our dinner then we get a mince pie after.
We don't normally get presents at Christmas but we're allowed a hanging gingerbread off of the tree and a satsuma to eat.
Nothing different really happened today except some carol singers came to the door. We gave them some of the leftover gingerbread ornaments and a small amount of money.

Dear diary, Apparently some nice people are coming today to find a child to adopt.
My name got called through the speeker and I walked downstairs to the office. I saw 2 people sitting at a desk. It was a man and a woman. They looked quite young.
I sat on the chair oppisite them and they started asking me questions.
"What's your name darling?"
"Star"
"What's your last name?"
"I don't have one."
"Oh. What do you like to do for fun?"
"I like to read and Write. I like reading Jacqualine Wilson books."
Just then one of the care workers knocked on the door and told me it was time for the next child to talk with them. I got down from my chair and walked back up to my room.

Dear diary, It's new years eve today. We don't normally celebrate new years because we're not allowed to stay up late.
The people yesterday decided to adopt a boy called Charlie. He packed and moved out today. That's what normally happens. I meet with some people. We have a really short conversation, then they adopt someone else. No one has ever wanted to adopt me. No one probably ever will.
