"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
I'm sure you've heard me say this before: God is the light in the darkness. Despite all the awful things happening in this world today, He is constant. He is good.
I know that when everything is crashing down, it can be hard to remind yourself that God with You, especially when it feels like He's against You. But He isn't, and He never will be. He loves you and will never leave your side.
I lost sight of God and I really wish I had listened to people telling me that He was with me, because they were right. He was by my side all along and I was to blind to see it.
Hebrews 13:8
"Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever."
When you are in the middle of a storm, God is protecting you.
When you are in the eye of a hurricane, God is with You.
When you are crying out for someone, anyone, to help you, God is there.
When you fall to the ground sick and tired of life's demand, God is there to pick you up.
Listen to me: Jesus Christ will never, ever, leave your side. In fact, He is with you everyday and will always be.
Matthew 28:20
