I will praise you on the mountain. I will praise you when the mountain's in way. You're the summit where my feet are. So I'll praise you in the valleys all the same.
This past weekend, I was able to go on my church's summer retreat. I had many questions of God that were answered. It was like God put my questions in the pastors' heads and they answered it so well.
One of the questions was, "what do you do when you don't feel God?"
We tend to build our faith around our feelings, not the truth.
The truth is that Jesus Christ dies for us to save our sins. He's with us no matter what and He loves us.
We're not always going to be on a spiritual high, but that doesn't mean that our faith should crumble.
The song above really hit me hard.
Whatever I walk through, wherever I am, Your name can move mountains, wherever I stand.
He's the same God who saved me.
"Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever."
- Hebrews 13:8
I came out of this weekend with a feeling of reassurance, and I feel stronger than ever.
