Episode 8: It's gonna be you, na na na na na

Yugyeom finally manages to get an international call to Jungkook, who feels so happy his only friend has called him up. They talk and chat but eventually have to stop, this is where Taehyung sneakily enters the library and shamelessly flirts with the younger. Jungkook doesn't necessarily mind because he assumes Taehyung does that with everyone!

Right?

The next weekend was the individual pair work and Jungkook was still training with Seokjin, who managed to make his life somewhat more easier. Jungkook and him had stayed throughout their researching work to make sure that they knew more about his actual ability. And Yoongi? He really pulled through with the person who he thought could help Jungkook. Turns out, that person was Tachi Susumu, who was a professor from Tokyo. The man had a PhD on Jungkook's ability... well not quite.

Jungkook was a soul manipulator, having the ability to manipulate, and turn subconscious into his own thing. Dr Susumu and Yoongi know each other because Yoongi used to be an anime nerd when he was in his First Years. Some anime had telexistence and he wanted to do some research on that, emailing the Doctor and having casual conversations with him.

If Jungkook didn't think Yoongi was cool then, he sure did now. If anything, he was just grateful that Yoongi managed to be able to help him in anyway. But Dr Susumu was jumping to immaculate conclusions when he and Jungkook emailed, thinking telexistence and Jungkook was somehow connected due to his quirk. Jungkook didn't know what to think, he wasn't necessarily shutting the idea down, but he just didn't know much about his quirk now. Why add something new to it?

Telexistence is general technology that enables a human being to real-time sensation of being at a place other when they actually exist originally. The idea was that Jungkook could potentially remove a person's soul from their physical being and leave the conscious in a temporary state of something kinda freaked him out. Which is why he quickly shot down the idea that telexistence was connected to soul manipulation.

Jungkook and Jin were in the middle of training, they were out by the fields, next to a giant lake. Which Jungkook decided to call the Great Lake because that was the type of Potterhead he was. He dodged attacks from Jin and quickly side stepped when Jin lunges for him. Jin was quick to use his quirk and turn himself into a girl, making Jungkook freeze for a second before he gave out and fell on his back.

"Time," Jin turned back into his regular, handsome, self and jogged over to a stop clock. He pressed the button looking at the time a clicked his tongue, "you got distracted by my quirk," Jin said.

"I didn't think you'd switch your gender- I didn't even know you could do that," he muttered the last part.

"Well I can," Jin answered, obviously able to hear Jungkook.

Jungkook decided to keep quiet, looking at Jin with slight interest. "You're quite lucky you know," Jungkook decided to say. He'd grown comfortable in Seokjin's presence that he wasn't too afraid of speaking to him above a whisper.

Jin cocked his eyebrow and tilted his head, "how so?"

Jungkook shrugged, "just... I know this girl who'd love to just change genders. It's cause she's genderfluid you know?" Jungkook explained.

"Huh?" Jin gave Jungkook a very confused look.

"It just means that some days she's a girl and sometimes he's a boy. She's normally a girl- doesn't really matter about pronouns too," he said.

Jin pouted, suddenly and in Jungkook's surprise Jin blushed. It was light and soft, complementing the light peachy pink hair he had that day, Jin bit his lip. "Does she have a quirk?" He asked.
