Episode 10: I could see the sunshine, shine, shine'Cause I'm just fine

PREVIOUSLY ON: QUIRKS

Jungkook has been spending a lot of his time with Taehyung, not like he wants to. Taehyung just seems to know when he goes into the library and likes to the disturb the younger. This time, he manages to convince Jungkook to go and see a special 'surprise' at night that could possibly get them in trouble. But in the midst of trying to impress Jungkook, Taehyung managed to drain his Quirk. Making him fall asleep in Jungkook's dorm.

The next day Taehyung wakes up Jungkook, adamant on showing him his special 'surprise' I wonder what it is?

Both boys raced out of Jungkook's dorm room, with the younger holding Taehyung's hand and the back of his subconscious. Jungkook didn't know what started it, maybe the thrill of knowing he'd get in trouble by a staff member if he got caught. Maybe it was because he just woke up and everything still seemed slightly hazy. Maybe it was Taehyung holding onto his hand tightly and pulling his arm faster and faster along the silent school grounds.

But Jungkook burst out laughing.

He felt the giggling erupt in his chest and tickle his throat as he started to laugh. The joy of running over the field, with the cold autumn air blowing against his hair. Dark hues of purples and blue filling the morning sky as Taehyung pulled Jungkook into what seemed like a supply closet.

Jungkook laughed, giggled, snorted. He felt his nose crinkle and face scrunch up in pure joy as everything that stressed him out suddenly leave him. The two boys started running up a bunch of stairs, taking two at a time and Jungkook still didn't know where he was going.

He could feel his subconscious stir from behind him and looked back a second to see his subconscious groggily rub its eyes. He held his subconscious' hand and dragged it along as Taehyung opened a door and pull them outside again.

Jungkook gasped when he almost crashed into Taehyung's back, and fall over the edge of the school. His eyes widened and he gulped slightly looking back down at the ground level, "whoa..." he breathed.

"That's not it," Taehyung held Jungkook's shoulders and gently guided him around a glass pane. Jungkook gasped again, slowly taking a step to the glass. He placed his palm flat on it and smiled, "we're on the school's dome?"

Taehyung nodded, "I found this place last year. Haven't even told Hobi hyung," Taehyung grinned.

Jungkook looked over at Taehyung, "just me?"

Taehyung thought for a second, "Well you and your subconscious."

Jungkook smiled and looked over at some more stairs leading up to the very top of the giant dome above the schools Training Facility. He started to walk up those stairs and looked down through the hexagonal window panes.

"The glass is purple?" Jungkook said aloud, "I thought they put on plastic or something," he said.

Taehyung nodded and smiled when they reached the very top of the dome. Taehyung looked over at Jungkook's amazed face and smiled softly. He looked at the boys striped pyjamas with a sassy-looking pink bunny poking its head out from behind the stripes. He gazed down at Jungkook shoes, which was the same pink bunny but as slippers.

He looked over the boys features and tried his hardest to remember the image in front of him. The way his lips were always a bright shade of red because he kept chewing on them every time he was nervous or simply annoyed. How his nose scrunched up cutely with little crinkles around the top of it or how the wind of the morning made his eyes slightly water and look more doll like.

Taehyung looked back at the scenery and watched as the sun started to come over the schools building. Casting a light hue of pinks and blues in the sky, the schools silhouette had fog covering the bottom half of the building and made the landscape even more beautiful. Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's hand and squeezed, making the lilac haired boy blushed slightly.
