The boys are all discussing the making of the summer time bash. A big 'unauthorised' school event that happens once a year. It includes the entire school, happens in the Sports Hall, and is probably the biggest party you will ever see. Jimin's not entirely into the idea of going to an event that the teachers are unaware of. Hoseok and Taehyung just really want to find out what the theme is going to be so they can make a prank to go with it.

Namjoon has found an idea for the theme... to be daring.

Yoongi didn't really plan on going to university, unlike Namjoon, who wanted to continue to learn and enhance his skills. The older boy was not into that idea, he just wanted to spend his last couple of months having fun, not really caring too much about the consequences. That was the initial plan except, when you're best friend is Kim Namjoon, you literally have no choice but to study for the exams. Because Jin, Yoongi and Namjoon were part of BTS and the competition, their exams were scheduled to be done before the rest of the class.

Tommy wanted Yoongi to tell him all the answers to the History test but the older couldn't do much. Apparently the answers would be swapped out, they took that into consideration for cheaters. Yoongi suspected it was because the teachers didn't really trust him. He was known as the 'bad boy' back in his early days of school. None of the uniform dress codes ever got into Yoongi's head, he always talked back to teachers and he didn't care about class anyway, so hardly showed up. Yoongi's parents just paid to have him in the school and he wanted to waste their money.

By Fourth year, he had calmed down slightly. He put on a new face, with black clothing, glasses to match and an attitude that oozed 'look at me and I'll find out where you live and shave off all your hair.' Everyone in the school knew about Yoongi expect Park Jimin (and the First Years, but this isn't about them), who was the first to be daring. Yoongi was surprised the first time he had met Jimin, expecting this second year student to just leave him alone but that was not the case.

Jimin was a surprise to say nonetheless. Yoongi just didn't know if he was something that the older needed. Yoongi looked over at the pile of work he had for the day, he groaned and just casually looked through them all. Bunching some into a ball and throwing away carelessly, knowing Namjoon would look at him disapprovingly like he always did. Yoongi didn't have his parents to stare at him like they were disappointed so he took pleasure in seeing Namjoon make the same face. It's not like he didn't care... wait- no- he really didn't care.

He only cared about Namjoon and making him happy. Yoongi was the type of person that if he ever made a friend then he made friends for life. Which is why he didn't make friends, he didn't want to be tied down like that. It's not like he can help himself, he took one look at little Jungkook and knew that he was already falling into the 'older brother' role. Anyone messed with that little squirt and they would only remember Yoongi's face before disappearing. This was also the same with everyone in BTS.

He just had a soft spot for Jungkook, who was too innocent. Taehyung and Hoseok were the same; Taehyung in a way that Yoongi pretended to not care about the younger at all but they both knew that they were there for each other. It was an unspoken rule. Hoseok was like Tommy in a sense that they were chill friends. Tommy knew his boundaries and even though he tried to get close to Yoongi, it was like he knew that Yoongi didn't want a permanent friend. The boy could get down with that. Hoseok was permanent though.

Yoongi knew this because Namjoon had become close with the boy. Jin was the same and even if Yoongi thought the older was nothing but a pretty, popular air-head he had a feeling that by hanging around with Namjoon meant he was going to see a lot of Kim Seokjin. Which wasn't a bad thing, no, not at all. Yoongi wasn't Seokjin's biggest fan but he was starting to understand the older more. It would help if he actually got to spend time with the older but he didn't find the need to. Yoongi was still in his dorm room, knowing full well that Namjoon wouldn't come in because he spent most of his time in the library now.
