I am DONE with act one (oh fuck) after this. Fun Fact about Aaron Burr: He was the lawyer of Maria's. Yet again, this is complete shit. It's hard to make this work. Even if this is the #6 favourite song I have on my list of Hamilton songs.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the war I went back to New York.
"After the war I went back to New York," Wendy says.
"Finished up my studies and I practiced law," I say.
"I practiced law, Tucker worked next door," Wendy says.
She buries herself in her work, it's rather concerning because... even through we started at the very same time, Wendy Testaburger begin to climb.... only due to how hard she works. That's the only way to explain it. She is still grief ridden by Nichole.... but I believe that to be quite fine considering they were somewhere beyond friends, I could tell that.
But hey. I'm supposed to understand this but.... how to account for her rise to the top, man, the woman is non-stop.
"Gentlemen of the jury! I'm curious, bear with me! Are you aware that we're making history?
This is the first murder trial of our brand-new nation, the liberty behind deliberation," she says.
She is absolutely non-stop.
"I intend to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt with my assistant counsel," Wendy says, letting out all she has to say.
"Co-counsel! Testaburger, sit down," I say.
She does as told, slowly. I'm aware of the fact she is driven in her work but there must be more! Why is she like this? Other than Nichole!
She has always expressed grief this way...
"Our client Jimmy Valmer is innocent! Call your first witness," I say.
I look at Wendy.
"That's all you had to say," I say.
"Okay! One more thing!" Wendy says.
She jumps over the desk to be in front of it. She's always been smart.... but now there is the added pressure of Nichole's memory...
....she wants to build a legacy, not only for herself but for Nichole and Stan as well.
"Why do you assume you're the smartest in the room?" I ask, looking at her.
Why do you assume you're the smartest in the room, that isn't what makes your legacy. Why do you assume you're the smartest in the room? It's not going to take the tools and build you a history. Take it in your own hands, you've already fought, this doesn't even matter anymore. You have nothing to lose! But honestly.
"Soon that attitude will be your doom," I mutter, watching her talk.
She comes back and starts writing again.
"Why do you write you're running out of time?" I ask her.
Write day and night like you're running out of time? Every day you fight, like you're running out of time. That doesn't work..... Wendy'll tire out. And as much as we are different, I still consider her a sort of friend.
