Chapter 11: Who's baby is it?

       It has been 5 months into the pregnancy and its nothing like the twins. Maybe cause there was two babies in there instead of one. Today was the day to figure out if it was a boy or girl. I was kinda excited and so was Aaron. Both Zak and Aaron have been going to the appointments with me. They have not fought once the whole time and neither have me and Zak. "You ready for the appointment Nikki?" Zak asked "Yeah, Aaron said he will meet us there." We were on our way and the twins were pretty excited to get a new brother or sister. "What would you like Miya?" Zak asked her "Umm, A litlle sister Mason is a but head and then I could teach her things." We both laughed "What about you Mason?" I asked "I want another baby sister. I love my little sister and would love another one." Awe that was the cutes thing I heard. We got to the doctors and saw Aaron waiting for us. "Uncle Aaron the kids yelled running up to him. "I dont think the next one will be saying that." Zak said joking but me and Aaron didnt take it as a joke "Sorry." I said "Sorry for what?" He asked confused "Sorry the next one might not say Uncle Aaron." I said and walked away. "I didnt mean it like that Nikki." He said trying to catch up. We walked in and I told Zak and Aaron to stay with the twins for a minute while I signed in. In a couple of minutes I was called in. Before we walked in I told the twins "We are going into another room, You two need to be on your best behavior and not mess with anything, You understand?" They shook there head yes. We walked in and I laid down on the table. "Alright you ready to see the baby?" The doctor asked "Yes I cant wait to see him or her." The doctor put the jell on my belly and looked on the monitor. "Look at the monitor, Thats your baby brother or sister." Aaron said. He is so good with kids. He deserves one of his own. "So do you guys want to know the sex of the baby?" We were all excited even the twins to know what the baby was. "Yes." I said "Well its a girl." "Well the twins both got what they wanted a baby sister." I laughed and started to cry. "Why are you crying hun?" Zak asked  "I'll tell you later." He shook his head. the doctor wiped the jell off my stomach and told me he would see me next month. I told the lady at the desk and she made the appointment and we left. The kids said by to Aaron I gave him a hug and Zak gave him a bro hug. We got the twins into the car and started the car "So, why were you crying again?" He asked "I was crying because of how I hurt you with Aaron, and now I know why you flipped out on me. And im sorry." I said to him and started to cry again. "Awe baby." He said and grabbed my hand "You dont have to apologize, I know your sorry. and the way I flipped out wasnt right, I should of done it more mature and talked instead of going crazy." He kissed my hand and held it the whole way home.  It was around 4:30 when we got home so I started to cook dinner and Miya help and Mason had some father/son bonding.   "Mom." I looked at Miya "Yes, Sweet pea." "I am so excited for my baby sister to come. What are you going to name her?" She asked "I dont know sweetie, Me and daddy need to talk about it and then I will let you know." she smiled at me "Ok, Can I set the table?" She asked "Yes, if you can be careful with the glass and dont take more then you handle." She nodded and set the table. I heard a knock at the door and I went to answer it. It was Mary "hey sweetie, What are you doing here?" "Well I wanted to give you the good news in person instead of texting you." I laughed "Ok, So whats the good news?" "Ok well there is two." She said "Just tell me already." I said getting impatiant. "Okay well im moving closer into a bigger house. and the reason for that is im pregnant agian." "OMG!!!" I yelled "Why are we always pregnant at the same time?" she laughed "Well, Last time I had peyton when the twins were born and now it 5 months apart." I laughed "Ok, mrs. technocallity. Well since your here, Do you want to stay for dinner?" I asked her "No thanks I have to get back and cook for my boys." she said "Alrigh and congrates." she walked out "What was all that about?" Zak asked "Nick and Mary are having another one and there moving closer to us." I told him "Another one of what?' "Another kids silly." I tend not to say bad word for the kids. "Oh ok, congrates."  I laughed "Dinner is done." I said "Go get washed up please." We all sat down and ate dinner "So Miya wants to know what were going to name the baby." I said to Zak "oh, We dont know we will know when we see her." I looked at him "Well what do you have in mind hun?" "I dont know, Javan." He said "Im not likeing it." I told him "Well what do yo have in mind?" He asked "Either Brooklyn or Brynn." I said "Both beautiful name, but we also have to put Aaron's name too.' He said "Yeah I know." We finished eating and while I cleaned up I let the kids go play befor there bath. I heard another knock at the door. 'When I answered the door it was Aaron. "Hey what are you doing here?" I asked him "I wanted to talk to you and Zak about the baby." I looked at him weird "Ok, can we do this after I get the kids a bath and bed and the kithen cleaned?' I asked "Yeah." until then Aaron and Zak sat and watched tv I cleaned the kitchen and gave the kids a bath and put them to bed. "Ok, So whats going on Aaron?" I asked  "Well. I have been thinking and I got to be honest with Y'all I am scared if the child is mine." He said "I dont know what I would do if it was just me and the baby. Im freaking out and I dont know what to do." He said "Zak was the same way in the begging. He didnt think he would be a good father or know what he was doing but when we  had the twins he learned in the hospital what he had to do and to me he became the best father I know. you have to have faith in yourself. you cant just put yourself down because you dont know how to do something, You have to put yourself out there to know." I told him "Alright thank you, and Have you two been talking about names?" He said "Your welcome and actually we realy werent until Miya asked what we were going to name her." I said "Oh, did you think of any names?" He asked "Zak likes Javan, I didnt really like it the two I liked was Brooklyn and Brynn." I said  "I like Brynn alot." He said "Ok, well when we figure everything out we will decide." I told him "Alright, I'll see you guys later." He said and walked out. "Awe poor guy." I said to Zak while he was locking up the house. "Yeah he sounds like me when I first became a father." "Yeah,But you turned out great." I told him, He picked me up bridal style, turned out the lights and carried me upstairs. We got changed, laid down and cuddled. I was fast asleep.

                                              The baby is on the way  (9 months later)

                Aaron has been sleeping at our house for the past couple of weeks since the baby is due anyday now. He is so great with the twins playing with them helping them with things. I was cooking dinner for everyone when a huge pain came in my stomach and thats when I knew the baby was coming. "Babe, The baby wants to come out now!!" I yelled and he came running down the stair. "Is it time hun?" I looked at him with a stupid face "Yes, lets go." I said  Aaron grabbed the twins and put them in his care while Zak rushed me to the hospital. I reconized the pain from the twins so I knew she was coming. Zak went to the desk to tell the ladie and in a matter of minutes I was in a room. The doctor already knew when she came out I wanted a test done to see who was the dad. "Who would you like in the room?" the nursed asked "Same person last time, my fiance Zak." I said  "Ok," she went to get the room ready. Within minutes she was coming out. I grabbed Zak hand and pushed. I was sweezing so hard that his hand was turnin red and so was his fast cause of the pain. It took awhile but she came out. They let me rest awhile while they did the test. About an hour the nurse came in with the baby girl. "Here is your precious baby girl." the nurse said "The doctor will be right in with the results." "Ok, thank you." I looked at Zak then at Aaron and they both had scared looks on there faces. I didnt know what was going to happen if it wasnt  Zak's and I know how devastated Aaron would be going through all this and it not being his. As I looked at the door it started opening. It was the doctor. "How is everyone doing? Im guessing pretty nervous by the test result I have." He said, I shook my head. "Alrigh, lets see according to this test the father is....... Aaron Goodwin." I looked at Zak and he looked pretty said. "Thank you doctor." He nodded and walked out. "Aaron can you give me and Zak a moment to talk please?" "Yes." he said and walked out. The room was silent for a moment "I know you probably think im hurt, I am a little but not as much as I thought I would." I put my head down "Im sorry," I said and started to cry, He got up off the chair and walked ove to me and hugged me. "Baby, dont be sorry. It happened for a reason. I have you not Aaron. Im the one marring you not Aaron. We have plenty of time to do things like this again. I have two beautiful twins from you and me and you could make more if you want. Im not worried about it anymore I know what is important and im not going to look at the negative anymore. You and the twins are the most important things to me in the world. And I love you guys so much." I cried even harder then the baby started to cry so I cried even more. I got up and grabbed and rocked her. Zak went to go get Aaron. "So what is her name?" Zak asked "I like Brooklyn." I said "I like it to." Zak said "Yeah, me to." Aaron said "Brooklyn Mae. Who's last name are we giving her?" I asked  "Lets give her Goodwin." Zak said Brooklyn Mae Goodwin." I said "Thats great hun." Zak said I changed and fed her and then I laid down and fell asleep. Zak and Aaron took care of brook the time I was asleep. I slept for 2 1/2 hours and Brook slept for 1 they said.  The next day we took brook home and of course I took pictures and posted them. She is such a good baby. We laid her down in the crib and we cuddled in our room. "Babe I think we might need a bigger house with the rate were haveing kids." I laughed "Yeah, Maybe we should look." He said "What about your dungeoun?" I asked "I can always build a new one sweetie. Its not even finished anyway. Oh, and before I forget to tell you, the twins aare with my mom so we can focus on the baby for a little." He said "Alright." I made sure the monitor was on and me and Zak took a nap. I hope Brook isnt going to be the center of our next argument. We are all doing good so far. Lets see how far we can get with out a fight.
