Chapter 20: The BIG Accident

It has been two weeks since we got back from the honeymoon and we havent done alot at the office yet, work wise.  Everyone has been working from home now since the office is getting redone. We also havent had any investigation lately, that is putting a drain on Zak because of the money and paying all the bills. Zak has been on the phone all day trying to find another investigation. Mary even texted me to tell me Nick and Aaron are working on it to. I have been trying to but the kids have been running around and I wanted them to stay quiet for Zak so I took them to the park and met with Mary and her kids. "So,  how is Zak doing?" Mary asked "He has been going crazy. He keeps saying I should of kept working while we went to Hawaii or we should of never went. It is taking a big toll on him." "Awe, Nick and Aaron are at my house trying to find something, But im guessing so far nothing." I shook my head "I just cant believe there is nothing for us to investigate." "Yeah." I was watching all the kids play and they were doing so well, Until some kids came over and tried to be rude to Peyton.

The Kids

Mean kids: What do you think your doing playing in my sandbox?

Peyton: Playing

Mean kids: I dont think so.

The kids push Peyton down and try to put sand in his face until Mason steps in,

Mason: Why dont you leave my cousin alone and go play somewhere else for the day.

Mason said stern

Mean kids: Why dont you stay out of it shorty?

Mason: Why dont you make me?

I had enough of this so as a mommy I stepped in

Me: Excuse me is there a problem?

Mason: This stupid head is trying to control Peton and Im not going to take that.

Mean kids: Yeah and what is you Mummy going to about it?"

Me: Ok, Ok. Peyton was here first and I dont see your name on here. So go run along before me and your mommy have issues.

Mean kids: I..i.. Im sorry

and they ran along. "Thank you mommy." Mason said "Your welcome." I walked away and they played some more until it was time to go.  When we got home Zak was at the kitchen table with a book and his cell phone. "Kids go upstairs and play while I talk to daddy." and they did I put my stuff on the couch and walked over to him "Whats the matter babe?" I asked him "I cant find a fucking Investigations and its pissing me off."   I nodded "Dont get all worked up about it." "Dont get myself worked up over thing, Dont get myself worked up? How am I not suppost to get worked up about it if I cant support my family, going to lose the office.. tell me that Nicole." "Im sorry im trying to help and be there for you like im suppost to as a wife, but its hard when your husband is yelling and not putting faith into this." I told him and sat down. "Your right, Im sorry. I am really trying but everything I try to do it just gets worse and worse. I look at the bills for the house and its not that bad then I look at the bills for the office and its like I cant do much of anything without an Investigation." He said it was silent for a little bit. "Everyone is trying to help you know that right?" He shook his head "Yes they told me and now you told me." I tried everything I could to cheer him up but he didnt listen to me. After dinner and cleaning up I went online to search some Investagation spots. I looked for an hour and still saw nothing. I kept looking I didnt give up.  Within another hour I found something that might work. "Zak, Zak." I said trying to wake him up. "What?" He said jumping up off the couch. "I think I found something" I said excited "Let me see." I was a place in Texas. Everyone that has been there say they have experiance something bad there. "We have to call them." Zak said  "It says here that the place has had some bloody accidence and not by "People". It is a very dangerous place." I told him "If it gets us money we will do it." I looked at him funny. "There has to be something else, I dont want to get hurt." "Baby you wont get hurt I promise. with me there you wont." I agreed with him, we went to bed. The next day Zak called he was on the phone for 2 hours with them. When he got off the phone he shouted and was all happy. "We leave tonight." He said "What?" I said confused "We are leaving tonight. We acctually have an Investagation to go to. I got to call everyone." he said and ran off. I called Zaks mom cause I figured he would forget and told her what was going and she agreed to come pick them up in an hour, so I got them ready. I also got Zak and I ready because he was to busy yapping his mouth to everyone. It was around 4 that everything was ready and we off to meet everyone at the airport. It wasnt as long of a trip to Hawaii as to Texas but I still fell asleep.
