Chapter 12: The search for a new home.

         Brook woke up and started to cry around 6 in the morning. She sleep well like Mason did. I changed her up and walk down stairs to get a bottle for her. Around 6:30 Zak came down and he was dressed. "Were are you going?" I asked him "We are going to look at houses, Bigger houses." I had a shocked look on my face. "Are you sure we are ready to get a bigger house at this time?" I asked him "You said it yourself that we needed a bigger house and we do. With the new baby and everything we are going to need it." He said "Alright." I said he grabbed Brook from me "Go get ready I have a house for you to check out." "Alright." I said and went up stairs to get ready. I had no clue what Zak had planned today. He seemed happy about it though. I was done and walked downstairs to ge Brook so I can Change her and get a diaper bag ready.  As I walked down I saw Zak walking around and talking to Brook. I could see he was upset about the whole thing and wanted another girl to call his own. "Hey guys." I said walking down stairs "Hun, you startled me." I laughed "Awe, im sorry." I walked over to him and kissed him. "I need to go change her and pack a bag, I'll be right back down and then we can go." I said to him. I went upstairs and did what I need to do and went back downstairs. "Alright were ready." I told Zak. The car ride felt like it was taking forever. "We are here." He said I looked at the house and it was big and so beautiful. "Oh my." I said "You like it now, wait until you get to see the inside." He said. I grabbed Brook and instead of logging the car seat in I just grabbed Brook and held her the whole time. As we walked in my eyes got really big "Wow, Babe. Its gorgeous." He smiled "I was looking last night on my phone for big homes and I saw this one and this one came up." He said  "Oh my, lets go check it out." I said. We walked into the kitchen and it was bigger then our other one. it was big and I love big kitchens. The den was decent size to. There was one room down stairs and it was big. We went up stairs and the master bedroom was really big and it had his and her walk in closet. The master bath looked like the biggest bathroom I have ever seen. There was like 6 or 7 bedrooms upstair one down stairs and one bathroom. We walked back downstairs. "So what do you think hun?" Zak asked me "It's beautiful baby." I said "So, do you want to get it?" I looked at him "This could be ours, and the kids?" I asked "Yes, this could be ours and the kids." I started to think about Mary and Nick they were going to move to near us and all that was good news to hear that my best friend was going to move near us. "What about Mary? She is suppost to move closer to us soon." I said "Yes I know but I think we need this big house more then having your friend live near us." I looked at him funny "She is more then a friend Zak she is my Best friend and it means alot to me when we dont see each other very often." I told him "Ok, Im sorry but like I said I think we need this house alot more." He said, He was right our family was exspanding quickly and we didnt have enough room in the house we are in now. "Ok, and yes we do need this house more." "So, do you want to get it?" He asked "Yes." I said and hugged him. Things were finally coming into play. In two years I will be marring to the guy of my dreams, Buying a house with the man of my dreams, and have children with the man of my dreams. "You guys can move in when ever you want." The lady said  "Thank you." me and Zak walked out to the car "Babe, I think before we move in we should paint a little, like the kids room and our room and maybe the den." I said to him "Ok, what color do you want the kids room?" He asked "Well. I think we should ask Miya and Mason what color they would like." I told him "Could we make it a surprise for them?" He asked "Yeah just make conversation with them and just bring it up to them." I said "Alright. and what color do you want the den?" I thought for a moment "Maybe like a brown or tan." I said "Yeah, thats nice and our room?" He asked "What about like a green or something to match the sheets we have. and Brook's room will be pink." I said "That sound good babe, Let's go to the store to get paint and then drop it off at the house and then go get the twins." He said. "Sounds good." We drove to home depot and grabbed the paint we needed. Then we went back to the new house and dropped it off. Zak called his mom to let her know that we were going to get the twins but she insisted on haveing them one more night and so did they. So we let them stay again. We got back to the house and I changed Brook and put her for a nap.  "Babe, I think im going to go and get started painting the house."  I looked at him weird "Why hun?" I asked "So we can move in faster." He said I laughed "ok, I'll just text Mary and see if she will come over and keep me company." I said. I gave him a kiss and he left. I texted Mary to see if she could come over and keep me company but she said she was busy moving into her new house. She said it was close to were we live now so I walked outside and I didnt see any moving trucks near by. So I texted Aaron to see if he wanted to come over and keep me company and also see his little girl. He said he was busy doing something. I think everyone knows something I dont know. I heard Brook start to fuss upset and I went upstairs to see what was the matter with her. it didnt look like there was anything wrong with her but I took her our and brought her downstairs with me and she fell asleep on me while watching tv. About 3 to 4 hours later Zak came walking through the door all painted up. "Hey hun." I said "Hey." He said not stopping to talk went straight upstair. I dont know what is going on but I hope whatever it is, it isnt anything bad. I put Brook in her little bopy and haded her a rattle and went to make dinner for Zak and I and get Brook a bottle. Zak came down all cleaned up and in sweats. "So, Whats the matter with you?" I asked him "Nothing." I could tell there was something. "Are you sure? You seem like there is somthing you are hiding." "Nope nothing." I just let it go. If he wasnt going to talk then I wasnt going to make him. I made mine and Zak's plates and place them on the table and grabbed Brook and fed her the bottle. "So, how many rooms did you get painted today?" I asked "I did ours and part of Miya's." He said "Oh, maybe tomorrow I can come help." I said to him "No, I got this. Im going to do it myself." He said "Oh, ok." I said to him. Zak ate and went to bed and didnt even say goodnight. Me and Brook stayed up a little longer not couse we wanted to but because Brook could not sleep at all. All she did was cry for hours on end. I dont know what was wrong with her. Finally she went to sleep and so did I.  When I woke up Zak wasnt home. Brook was crying for me to get her. I changed her and put different cloths on her and went downstairs. I texted Zak and asked him what  and were he was. He didnt respone. I didnt  like anything that Zak was doing. He use to always respond to me right away but now he aint. I fed Broo and changed her and put her for a nap around 12 it was 12:30 when Zak came in the door. Once again no talking to me. He went straight to the kitched ate something and left not saying anything to me. This was getting ridiculous he always says something to me. He wants to give me the silent treatment then ill give it back. It was around 5 when Zak came back into the house. I didnt make dinner cause I didnt know when he was comeing home he didnt call or text me so I didnt cook. He made something and yet again didnt talk to me or say goodnight. So I brought Brook's basinet down stairs and slept there and didnt go upstairs. Brook woke up around 4 in the morning. I changed her and while feeding her Zak came down stairs. "Babe, What are you doing down here and up?" he asked "oh now you want to talk to me. and im up because Brook is up." "Im sorry for not talking to you hun, I just have alot of work to do." He said and then kissed me and walked out. "Work my ass." I said. I got Brook back to bed but I couldnt fall asleep. It was around 9:30 when Zak came in the house. "Babe are you free to come with me so I can show you something?" He asked "I would have to get Brook and I ready but sure."It took a little bit but then we were ready. "Ok we are ready." "Do you have everything?" I looked at him weird "Yes I got the diaper bag and two bottles. "Alright let's go." "What about the twins?' I asked him "They are were we are going." it seemed like forever but we ended up at the new house. "What are we doing here?" I asked him "You will see." He said I grabbed Brook but Mary took her from me and Zak covered my eyes. I heard the door open and we walked in. "1....2....3" He let go and I opened my eyes. "Oh my god!!!! You did all of this?" I asked "Well, Me, Nick, Mary and Aaron did all of this. Go look at the twins's rooms." He said I walked up stairs and saw Mason sitting on his bed with blue walls. I walked to Miya's room and she had a purple room and she was sitting on her bed. I looked at the master bed and bath and they were beautiful. Brook's room was so cute to. "Wow its amazing. Why couldnt I help or come here and see it?" I asked "I wanted to suprise you and if I talked to you I knew I would spill the beans to you." I laughed "Awe, I know I cant stay mad at you."He hugged me and then we kissed me. "So, How does the den and the rooms and the kitchen have furniture?" I asked him "I bought everything. New house, New furniture." He said. "So all we have to do is get our cloths and put it in here. "Thats alot of work hun?" I said "Yes it is but its worth it for my family." I blushed We kissed and hugged really tight. I walked into the living room and saw Aaron with Brook. He is so cute with her. Talking with her and playing. I walked over to Aaron "Hey." I said "Hey" "isnt she beautiful?" I asked "Yeah and to think I made this." He laughed "Yeah, Do you want to take her for a night? not like im getting rid of her just I see you with her and you are cute with her." I said "Alright, I think I can do this parenting think." I laughed "I know you can. when we go back to the house to get our stuff come with us and ill give you some more things for her." I said "Alright." he replied.  We went to the other to get all our of our cloths and other things. Aaron came and got the stuff for Brook and left with her. "Grab somethings you need kids and then we willl get going." I said to the twins. Zak and  got some of our things and I put stuff in my car and Zak put some in his car. Mason rode with me and Miya rode with Zak. When we got back to the house the kids went to there room and did it the way they wanted. And so did me and Zak. I made our first dinner in the house, The kids favorite chicken fried steak. After dinner I gave them a bath and they went to bed around 8. Zak and I thought it would be a good idea to go to bed as well there was alot of work to be done tomorrow. Zak and I got in our pj's and cuddled in bed. I think its the best way to fall asleep. "I love you Zak." I said "I love you to Nikki." He replied soon after we fell asleep.
