I woke up and felt my stomach grumble, first thing in the morning.
I got out of bed and walked out of my room, and as expected, Jimin was gone.
I found a note stuck on the fridge, which says;
had to leave early, i have dance practice~ good morning ♥ -jimin
Smiling, I made myself an egg & bacon toast with a cup of coffee. It's what I always ate every morning back in London.
I placed the plate and cup down on the coffee table as I turned on the tv to watch a show.
Later on, as I washed the dishes after I ate, I thought of what I was supposed to do today.
And then it crossed my mind, Namjoon. I checked my messages with Yoongi and found the number he had texted.
I dialed it a few times.
After three tries of ringing it, Namjoon finally answered.
"Hello?"
"Is this Namjoon oppa?" I had to make sure since his voice had slightly changed.
"Oh, yes. Who is this?"
"It's Saerin," I replied and it was quiet for a while. Omg, did he forget me?
"Saerinie! You're back? We should meet up some time, I want to talk to you!" Namjoon excitedly said from the other line.
"I'm at Seoul~ How about we meet up today?" I asked since I was eager for answers.
"Sounds good, maybe later this afternoon?" He suggested.
I nodded but then internally face-palmed. How dumb of me, we're in a call.
"Alright, see you!"
"See you!"
Namjoon hung up. I'm excited to meet him, but I'm more excited to find out answers to my questions.

"Yup, the brown one— okay I see you, wait a second—" Namjoon hung up as I stopped my pace infront of a so-called Book Cafe.
Later on, a vintage-styled man stood infront of me.
"Aigoo, our little Saerin has grown!" he looked at me like a father before giving me a tight hug.
He was the brother I never had, I mean, he literally treats me like a baby.
He ruffled my hair before leading me to a table where he already ordered food.
"You're still little," he patted my head.
"And you're still a bookworm for taking me to a book cafe. I didn't even know such thing existed," I chuckled.
"Book and coffee just go so well with each other, don't you think? Anyway.."
"How have you been? How was London? Oh— or should I say..." He switched from Korean to English, "How are you, Doctor Lee Saerin?"
[remember, they're supposed to be speaking in Korean]
We had a talk about our lives which almost took one hour. We had so much to catch up with, and we still relate to each other as much as we did before.
I decided to stop beating behind the bush.
"Can I ask you about something?"
"Hmm?" Namjoon hummed, waiting for me to continue.
"Taehyung."
He stayed silent for a second.
"What about him?"
I took a deep breath. I sure had a lot to say.
"I think I saw him at an art gallery a few days ago..."
"And.. he changed.. a lot. One more thing which confuses me is that..."
"He didn't know me."
I stopped and waited for Namjoon to talk, but instead, he never did.
There was dead silence.
I decided to break the silence.
"I'm not sure if that was him though."
Namjoon finally spoke.
"Did you know about the accident?"
It was my turn to stay quiet.
"What do you mean?"
