The smell of Kimchi roamed the place. Smoke was also seen on the street.
Taehyung and I were at a local night market. He insisted to go here to eat.
I looked at myself and cringed. I looked weird in Taehyung's baggy clothes. I mean, it's better than walking around in wet clothes, right?
I hid behind Taehyung while he walked. He noticed and turned to me.
"What are you doing?" He asked with a confused smile.
"I look like a homeless kid," I frowned.
He laughed and pulled me, placing his arm around my shoulder.
"Come here, homeless kid."
Every single skinship makes my heart flutter, and I feel like I'm back to a high-school student reminiscing about her crush.
It feels strange. We were bestfriends, and now I suddenly get nervous around him.
All we did before was argue over the childish things, how did we even get here?
I mean, how did I even get here?
I don't know what we are now though.
He grabbed my hand and dragged me to one of the stalls, where they sold japchae.
He likes japchae? I guess he's still the same Taehyung.
Except he doesn't know me.
"Halmoni, can I get two orders of japchae?" Taehyung politely smiled at the old lady who was cooking japchae right in front of us.
She smiled back, and nodded.
She gave him two plastic bowls of japchae as Taehyung payed her. Every girl would fall in love with Taehyung just by seeing his fair manners.
"Do you like japchae?" He asked as he handed me a bowl of japchae.
"It's my favorite," I grinned and ate a spoonful.
"Really? Me too!" He excitedly said.
We strolled around some more, seeing almost all of the stalls.
Of course, we tried most of the street food, so the long walk was worth it.
I munched on the Tteokbokki, now in serenity as we were sitting down on a chair with a table in between us.
I stopped when I felt Taehyung's gaze at me. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow in confusion.
He leaned closer, inches apart from me.
I flinched - and then closed my eyes.
Is he going to kiss me? No, that's insane.I didn't feel anything, so I slowly fluttered it open.
Taehyung giggled and smiled at me as he took a piece of tissue and wrapped the corner of my lips.
I internally cursed myself for being stupid. Why would he even do that? Did I forget - he has a girlfriend.
I felt my cheeks warm up in embarassment. I looked down, wishing the light from the post would black out so he couldn't see me.
"There was sauce on your lips," He pinched my cheeks and then chuckled for the second time.
"Kyeopta."
He mumbled as he looked away.
