Hadrian pov

After draco fell asleep I Held him for what seemed like hours before cassy started screaming
I placed a pillow in my place before walking to cassiopeia's room
I went to her crib that was placed in between her brothers
"Hey baby girl, what's wrong?" I hush rocking her
"Did you just want hugs cassy?" I ask
I watch her watery blue eyes stare up at me, her pale skin shining from the tears and her lips parting in wonder
"Come on cassy, time to go back to sleep" I say
After a while her eyes close so I place her back down and creep out of the door, checking the wards on my way out
I join draco in bed replacing the pillow and holding him tight again
I drifted to sleep holding him tight

I wake up and notice draco is no longer in my arms and immediately sit up I see his sat by the door with tears running down his face
"Draco? Princess, what's wrong?" I ask rushing to his side and pulling his head up
"Your birdy, can't find him" he sobbed
"Hey, it's probably just hiding" I said picking him up and carrying him to the bed
"N-no he gone" draco cried
"Baby, think about your bird on your wrist for me" I told him
"O-ok" he said closing his eyes
The bird flies to his wrist and sits waiting for draco to open his eyes
"Open your eyes baby" I say
He opens his eyes and looks at his wrist
"Birdy" he said his eyes lighting up
"See baby, your Birdy wasn't gone, just hiding" I say
"No, not my Birdy, Birdy yous" he said staring at the bird "you give Birdy to keep safe"
"No baby, I gave you Birdy so that when we're apart we can still talk, later I'm going to teach you the spell so you can mark me back, then you can contact me, not just me contact you, ok bubs" I explained
"So Birdy mine" he asked
"Yes baby, the Birdy is yours" I said smiling and hugging him close
"Sleepy" he said leaning into me
"Let's take another nap then" I said lying us down
He hugs his wrist close to his chest and snuggles into me
I wrap my arms around him and close my eyes

"Hadrian" I hear draco say
"Mm" I answer
"Your wings, I need to check on the triplets" he said
"Sorry" I said making my wings pull away from him
He wanders off holding his wrist close still, his bird is probably still there
I sit up and wait for him to return
He returns with cassy and oberon and gives them to me before rushing to grab perseus who was probably the least awake
"Hey lil ones" I say rocking them both
Oberons striking green eyes stare at me, his tanned skin contrasts his sisters pale skin
His dark brown almost black hair matches hers however as perseus was the only one to receive dracos blond hair
Cassy's hair now reaches her shoulders, which is strange as she is only a few weeks old, they're also about the size of 4 month olds, aunt bella and cissy think it's because of their strong ansestores and my very potent strong magic abilities that draco will eventually share
One this is known, they grow quick and will be stronger than their peers.
Draco walks in carrying a sleeping perseus
"How about we let them play for a bit, in muggle books it's called tummy time, they learn to share and play and socialise it's supposedly healthy,  and you can show me the spell" draco suggests
"Ok" I say Accioing a blanket and some of their toys and magicing it onto the floor where we can see them clearly from the bed
"Hadrian" draco asks
"Yes" I ask
"Look at your hands" he says
I look at them confused and realise I'm not holding my wand
"Wait what" I murmur
"I'm sure it's nothing, leave it for now, we can do some research later, for now we can watch the triplets and you can teach me this spell" he says placing the trio on the mat and sitting on my lap
"The spell is 'imigo' which is latin for image of, after that you need to say the name of the animal you would like to place on me or the mark in Latin, for you it was 'imigo avem' image of bird. This spell only works on the full mood however so we can practice until then, any idea what animal you want to give me" I ask
"Yeah" he says smiling
"What animal" I ask
"Not telling you" he said
"Aw no fair" I say
"Yes fair" he says
"How will you know what to say for the animal" I ask
"Ill ask mama, she studied latin for fun when she was pregnant with me" he said
"Ok" I said smiling
"Ok" he said leaning into me
I wrapped my arm around him and watch the babies play
Oberon had a dragon, perseus a car and cassy a unicorn.
Perseus was concentrating with fiery grey eyes on the car, perseus looked like draco, while oberon liked like me and cassy looked like a mix
Perseus had dracos grey eye and platinum hair, He also had dracos pale skin and pale lips.
Oberon had my green eyes and my brown hair, he also has my tanned skin and round face
Cassiopeia had my hair and blue eyes, most likely from aunt cissy, she had my round face but dracos pale skin
The perfect combination of the two of us were mixed into these two
"Draco, the reason I gave you this mark was so we could take from far away, when the war starts... properly starts, how about you go with the triplets to either France or Germany, America's also an option, maybe Australia or nee Zealand" I say "alissa may be going as well as neville and maybe even lee"
"As long as you promise to call me every night and to leave a message every morning I'll consider" he said " itll keep them safe of anything bad happens right" he asks
"yeah" I said
