Unbelievable (Hayes Grier Fanatic)

Chapter 9

*Sam's POV*

I woke up to the smell of eggs and bacon. Mmmmm. Bacon. I noticed that there was no snoring, so I looked to my right and noticed that Mal wasn't there. What time is it? I always wake up before her! 11:30!? What the heck! I must have stayed up later than I thought! 

After I went to the bathroom I walked out to the kitchen. "Welllll goodmorning goodmorning goodmorning to youuu!" Malory and Nash both sang in unison. "Haha! Morning!" I said back.

Hayes walked out of the bathroom saying "Awww I missed it! I wanted to sing it too!" I started laughing and he said it anyway, but this time, he had two tickets and a card in his hand. He gave me the card first. It said "Happy birthday babe!" 

"Oh my gosh how did you know!" I asked hugging him. "Thank Malory." He said as Mal and Nash walked up to me giving me a birthday hug. "But wait! There's more..." Nash said gesturing to Hayes in a narrating voice.

Hayes handed me the tickets. 

Maryland Boys and Girls Lacrosse Maryland vs. Loyola

I screamed and ran up to Hayes jumping into his hug. "This is literally one o the best birthday presents anyone has ever goten me!" I yelled.

"Happy 17th Birthday!" They all shouted. Hayes giving me a peck on the cheek.

"The games are today at 2:00 and 3:00 so go get ready!" Malory said pushing me off to the bathroom.

I showered and put on my Maryland Lacrosse t-shirt with the number 11 on the back with a pear on jean shorts and my black nike sneakers. I put my hair in a side rope braid, grabbed some money, and I was ready to go.

"Are you ready?" Hayes asked putting his arm around me. I nodded and we were out the door.

We got to the stadium and took our seats closest to the field! The girls were playing first. They beat Loyol 5-4 in overtime! That game was intense. I had recognized some of the players from camp on both teams and yelled their names. The remembered me and they waved back!

At the end of the men's game the score was 10- 5. Loyola got creamed! 

At the end of the games Hayes took me out of the stadium, hand in hand, but we weren't going in the right direction to the car. 

"Hayes the car is this way." I said pointing to the direction of the car. He pulled me back saying "We're not going to the car." I gave him a wierd look and he smirked. What are you up to Mr. Grier.

*Hayes POV*

It was the end of both games and it was time for me to bring Sam to the team party to meet the players. They all kne that we were coming and why so they set up a surprise party for Sam. 

When we enteded the room everyone yelled "SURPRISE" and nearly knoced Sam to the floor! I caucht her just in time before she could hit the floor.

"You okay there birthday girl?" I asked her. she laughed and stood up. She ran right up to the ones she knew. It was alot of pictures and alot of happy birthdays. A few of the girls started to talk about how good of a boyfriend I am and how their boyfriend's would never do that for them. We both laughed and mingled for a little while loinger until we decided to head home.

"Are you hungry?" I asked Sam. She replied with a Yes. Not just yes, but Yes! We stopped at McDonald's. She insisted on paying. "No it's your birthday! And the boy always pays!" She just ronned her eyes and kissed me on the chek.

We got home and before she could get out of the car I asked "Do you want to stay with me tonight?" She looked at me for a few minutes without saying anything. "I mean so you don't have to be up all night listening to Malory snore." I said trying to get her to say yes. 

"Well why didn't you ask me this before?" She asked, which i'm guessing meant yes, and got out of the car. 

"If you want to you can just stay with me for the rest of your visit, so you can get sleep." I asked her hoping an okay. She nodded her head yes with a smile on her face. 

*Sam's POV* 

Today was the best birthday ever! As we were sitting in the car in the driveway Hayes asked me if I wanted to stay with him tonight. I wanted to say yes but I was trying to find an excuse to tell Malory when he came up with the perfect one. Before I could answer he said "I mean so you don't have to be up all night listening to Malory snore." 

"Well why didn't you aske me this before?" I asked him. He took the hint that it meant yes and we got out of the car. As we were walking to the car he asked me if I wanted to stay with him for the remainder if the trip using the same excuse. I was starting to get really tired so I just nitted my head yes and walked into the dark house. Mal and Nash were both sleeping do I quckly grabbed my suit case and brought it to Hayes room.

"No peeking." I said to him as I was getting changd into my pajamas. He smiled as he buried his head into his pillow. I put on a t-shirt and grey nike pro spandex.

I told him he could look and he got up to change. He put on a pear of shorts anf no short. He caught me stairing and started struting his stuff like a super model. I laughed and crawled into bed. He crawled in next to me and pulled me close to him. He whispered in my ear "Goodnight beautiful, Happy birthday" 

I turned aroung thanking him and he kissed me. It was starting to get heated until I pulled away. He started smiling and I laughed turning my back towards him.

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight."
