She thought she had escaped her past, only to have it sneak up and slap her in the face. Everything she knows changes in the blink of an eye. But could it be the best thing for her?
Mags picked me up about an hour later. She called and told me just how much damage had been done to the building. Looks like I wouldn't be the only one that had to move out for awhile. I had already called and set up a moving company to go over and pack everything up and meet me at a storage place. Even though Colson was set on me moving in with him, I just didn't see me doing it. Yeah he had me falling pretty quickly for him with his sweet gestures, affection, and words. But, I couldn't help but feel like a nagging in me.
"What's wrong babes?"
I glanced over at Mags as she stood next to me. We where watching the men unload my things and carry them into the huge storage space. Of course I trusted the company because they had helped me move into the loft in the first place, I just needed sometime to clear my head.
"Life." I sighed out, walking over to sit on a bench.
"Shit's hitting the fan pretty quickly around here huh?" Mags replied, walking over to perch beside me.
"Mags, I just don't understand why Jimmy is going through all this now. He had 6 years to come for me and never did, so why is he going through all this trouble now?" I looked over at her.
"Maybe because he knows Baker has finally sniffed you out?"
I scoffed, shaking my head as I glanced back over towards the storage unit. Knowing the history between the two after Colson's confession I could very well see that being possible. But I wasn't some trophy, and if it came down to it I would make some huge changes.
"So again, a pissing contest." I growled.
"Whoa." Mags placed her hand on my knee. "Talk to me."
"Mags." I whined.
"No bitch, c'mon." She turned me so we where facing each other. "What's got you on edge baby?"
"The fact that I'm being hunted by a psycho ex boyfriend who up until a month ago I thought was dead has a lot to do with it." I spoke.
"I would be scared shitless too, but in all honesty if he touches you he's dead. Not only do you have the police force and every legal outlet at your disposal but, you've got the entire EST gang looking out for you."
"Yeah but what for?" I sighed.
"What do you mean?" Mags asked raising a brow.
"Look, don't get me wrong, I'm very flattered at all the help and attention EST is providing but I can't help but be paranoid as to the reasoning. Kels sudden infatuation with me and wanting me to move in with him, and all his talk of wanting me to be his girl-" I rambled.

"Wait!" Mags spoke loudly, causing me to stop. "What the hell have I missed? You've only been at his place for a night and 1/2 a day."
"I'm so confused." I ran my fingers through my hair with a loud sigh.
