I returned to Colson's house about an hour later. Mags helped me carrying in more clothes and other things I would need if I was going to be living here for awhile. We both got to meet Ashleigh and I can honestly say she was great. She was excited to have another girl living in the house for the time being and I found out her and Mags knew each other pretty well. Funny how things work. She also informed us that she was responsible for all of Colson's finances. She made sure all his bills were paid and all his money was right. She also looked out for his daughter when she was around, but she didn't give much insight into that. I would find out more about her when the time was right.

All the men where gone when I had returned, Ashleigh said they had "work business" to attend to. I knew what that meant but I wasn't going to stick my nose into it. Mags and Ashleigh left at the same time due to Mags having to head into the station and Ashleigh was going out with some friends. That left me and Iggy alone in my room. I was putting clothes on hangers and hanging them in the closet when I heard a throat cleared behind me. I turned and instantly smiled as my eyes landed on Colson. He was holding a bouquet of pink roses, and a goofy grin.

"I see you didn't skip out on me." He stepped inside.

"Kinda hard to do when I'm being followed." I smiled as I turned to hang up the shirt I was holding.

"Yeah." He sighed.

Mags and I had discovered we were being followed and instantly found it to be some members of EST. My first reaction was anger but I couldn't help but smile at the fact that Colson was only keeping an eye on us to ensure our safety.

"I just want to make sure your safe when your out Tess." He spoke as I turned facing him completely.

"So I'm going to have babysitters all the time now?" I smiled, crossing my arms.

"I mean-" His face was so serious I couldn't help but chuckle.

"I'm not mad Kels."

"Fuck you got a mean poker face." He finally cracked a huge grin, taking the few steps over to me. "For you." He held out the roses.

"Thank you." I bit my bottom lip as I took the beautiful roses from him, lifting them to smell.

"I didn't know what your favorite flower was but the lady at the flower shop said pink roses always made a good impression." He spoke, scratching the back of his neck.
