Aiko looked like a younger female version of Grayem. Dark hair, dark eyes, dark clothes and pale skin. Their noses were different though, and she had softer features. She stared at me wide eyed, looked me over, then smiled.
"Got a girlfriend, Grayem?" She asked him.
"No," he answered harshly, making Aiko laugh.
"Hi," she turned to me. "I'm Aiko, Grayem's little sister. Not meaning to sound rude or anything, but who are you?"
"Annora St'Kline," I nodded at her.
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm getting help from Grayem. I need to bring my friend back."
"You heard about me then?"
"I did research."
"Alright," Aiko shrugged.
We stood awkwardly for a couple of minutes. I stood perfectly still, copying them. It took me a moment to notice that they seemed to be having a private conversation, through eye contact. They each gestured their heads to me before Grayem sighed.
"You can take my bed, I'll take the coach. Sound alright?" Grayem asked me.
"Sure," I answered back.
We both nodded.
"Right this way then..." Grayem walked off and I followed. There was a small corridor that we went down with a few doors. The door we entered was the second on the left. His room was plain and small, with a twin sized bed pushed up against the far wall. It had black sheets and covers. The floor was old wood. The bed was oddly clean.
"Please," he said. "Get comfortable. We can go out tomorrow and get some life sources."
With that he walked out. I got comfortable in his bed, in my pyjamas, and I tried to get some sleep. He sounded so casual when talking about killing people. He sounded so careless when he brought me here to invade his room and steal his bed. Then I got some sleep. It was dreamless and pleasant.
