I screamed and then threw the energy at my past friends, they scattered, bringing Chrystal with them. I first kept my eyes on Arlen, but quickly found Rafael, and I took aim, fired.
Missed.
I saw Fabian, wimpy, thin, frail and helpless against me.
He dodged.
Chrystal was in Valdemar's arms.
Again, miss.
Then I realised they were all running all around me, a silent agreement. A silent strategy. To confuse me. I didn't care. I would play cat and mouse with them.
