I saw sparks emitting from my palm and I clenched it into a fist. I knew it was my power, I knew it was dangerous. I didn't want to hurt anyone with it. I didn't know how to use it, I didn't even know what my power was. I didn't want to suddenly destroy a whole building just because I was emotional.
When I looked around me again I realised I forgot which way I came. I did a full turn and couldn't tell which way was which. I decided on my left side.
I walked in that direction and saw nothing familiar. I continued walking anyway. My feet started to feel numb and my legs shook, but I didn't stop. I didn't care. I was better off alone, anyway. Anyone else was better off without me. I was trouble.
I found myself at the edge of the forest. I stopped at the tree line and looked at the city sparkling brightly in the early day. The sky was a bright blue with no clouds and a scorching sun. I heard car horns and yelling. I heard dog barks and children yelling and playing. A cool breeze made me shiver and I walked towards the city. Making my in through a small ally I found a person curled up next to a dumpster. With y eyes glazed over I picked up a random object, the lid to a bin, and walked over to the homeless man. He looked up at me blinking.
"Wha...?" He mumbled out, half asleep.
I brought the lid up then down on him. He let out a scream but I knocked the lid against his jaw, shutting him up. I continued to beat the man, not caring that I was taking a life.
Grayem's P.O.V
I ran through the forest and towards the city. Aiko had seen a vision of Annora going into the city and I didn't want her to get hurt. Leaves crunched continuously under my thudding bare feet. I rushed through the tree line and aimed myself towards the closest alley.
Through Annora's iPad she had gotten a message. I didn't want her to find out through anyone else. She would be devastated. More so then she already was.
In the alley I saw Annora standing over a limp figure, blood splattered over her clothes and skin. She was looking down on the man with no emotion on her face. I smiled a bit and stopped my running. Her head snapped towards me and I gave her a comforting smile.
"Hey there," I said slowly walking towards her. "How're you doing?"
She glared at me.
I shrugged. "Maybe we should go back. You worried me, running off like that. You could get so easily hurt in a place like this."
"I can defend myself," she walked past me, her shoulder knocking into me.
"I can see that."
"Why are you here Grayem?" She asked.
"I was worried. And, there's something that I need to tell you. About Nicandro."
She looked back at me. "How do you know anything?"
"Your iPad got a message."
"Well? What about him?"
