The energy rushed towards her at an impossible speed but she still managed to dodge to the side.
"Annora, you need to stop. Let us talk about this," Chrystal said to me.
I looked at my hands, confused. I didn't know how it happened, how I did it, what I even did. But I stared at my hand sin amazement as Chrystal tried to talk to me. I looked back up to Chrystal and grinned.
"Annora, I don't want to hurt-"
I raised my hands again and tried to send the energy towards her. I thought about how angry I was, even though I was still so full of joy from what I did. I was so close to hurting her. I tried to use the anger I had just before, I tried to force the energy out of my hands and right at her.
Nothing happened.
Then something happened that I did not expect. Chrystal ran. She ran right out of the door and down the stairs. It took me a moment to realise what happened, but soon I was on her heels. Rage fuelled me again and I took aim and focused and the energy shot out of my hands again, missing Chrystal. I chased after her, passing people why jumped out of the way.
"Why are you running, Chrystal?" I asked her, my legs starting to burn from how I was pushing them harder and harder.
"I don't want to hurt you!" She called back.
"Or do you not want to get hurt?" I shouted back.
We ran out of the building, and in the back of my mind I was aware of some people following us. And at a certain point I thought I saw Grayem and Clair, but I quickly ignored it. I kept chasing after Chrystal. She lead me through some streets to a large parking area. She stopped and turned to me.
"I couldn't let you destroy the building. Annora," she gentled her voice. "You're becoming destructive. I can help you. Please. Let me help you, we can figure this out."
"Figure this out!?" I yelled
More energy shot out of my hands, towards Chrystal who dodge at the last second and I watched as the purple white colour crashed into the back of a building behind her, burning a hole right through the stone wall. I saw Chrystal move away and again the raw energy raced towards her, stronger this time, hitting the same wall. I yelled in anger, hating her, loving him, hating myself, and the power of it increased and I lost control of it, the energy shooting up the entire wall, making the building weak.
"Annora!" Chrystal yelled.
I turned around to face her, seeing that she had moved behind me and she pulled out a gun. The energy again, so fast that she almost didn't dodge. So close. So close the her left arm was sizzling, burnt. She screamed out and raised the gun and I brought my hands up on instinct, creating a wall just as a loud bang rendered me deaf for a minute. The wall lowered and my ears were ringing.
I scowled at her.
"You're confused! I didn't do anything! You got false information! I wouldn't-"
I missed, hitting the ground by her feet, making her jump back.
I screamed and felt myself let the energy inside of me explode out, in a dome, the energy rushed out, pushing and burning Chrystal, knocking into the buildings, making the one behind me fall, making things burnt and catch on fire. I felt the destruction in a second before it occurred.
Grayem P.O.V
I ran to the main building, Head quarters or whatever they called it. Clair ran next to me, surprisingly fast for someone who seemed so unfit. We barged in and I ran to the first person I saw, the one who seemed the least in shock. The first thing I noticed was his bright blonde hair.
"Where do you keep the bodies?" I questioned him, barely out of breath.
"What?" He asked.
"Dead bodies. Where? Or where do you keep the bodies?"
"Grayem?' He asked.
"Yes. Where is-"
"I'll show you."
The blonde started to walk at a fast pace and I followed, Clair panting but still keeping up.
"Wasn't his body burnt?" She asked.
"Did Annora tell you?" I asked.
"Sure," she replied.
"Well I lied to her. I thought that she would stay with me if she didn't have him to go back to."
We turned corners and went downstairs. Eventually the blonde lead us to a room and unlocked the door for us. Then the ground shook. The whole building shook and he looked around before rushing back the way we came. Clair followed him. I went inside the room, wanting to make it up to Annora.
The room looked like a regular room where you kept dead bodies and I started to pull out the things where the bodies would lay. It wasn't long before I found him.
I saw the look in Annora's eyes. She wouldn't stop. She would kill. And there was only one person who would be able to stop it. The best fighter in the world. The one person who hadn't died when the tried to fight me.
Arlen P.O.V
I was worried about Annora. She had pushed me aside when charging through here, up the stairs. I could almost feel the anger radiating form her. She was going down a dark path. She had already pushed me aside as a friend, even though I would never leave her. She pushed Valdemar away, and Rafael, even though we all tried to make her feel better. We tried, before we thought that she just needed space. I was different, I needed friends, and she wasn't there, and i really couldn't blame her. But we were all wrong to give her space.
I had seen Rafael, Valdemar and even Chrystal's dumb nephew want to chase after her. Which is what we all did when she ran out, chasing Chrystal. On my way out I had passed Maxfield, who looked kinda out of it. Maybe stunned, like everyone else.
We saw Annora try to attack Chrystal, burning the building. Destroying the building, almost getting Crystal. Then when the lightning went out in a dome, making us all take cover. We all felt the earth shake and its of building fall around us, scattering me from my friends.
