Chapter 4: My dearest Sister

The big mattress swallowed me. I was covered in blankets, the room was very dark and cold.  Hot warm tears rushed out of my eyes. I have no idea why I am crying. Everything is too much ,finding out that I am a witch ,that I had a sister who I never knew ,that my mom was murdered and the killer was never found that I am stuck in this paranormal world for the rest of my life and the  cherry on top of it is that I am the queen of the paranormal creatures . I an ordinary creature, a human who recently discovered that she was a witch, who has no idea what power she had and how to control them. if they're any good and that the burden of making The paranormal creatures live in peace when I myself am not sure how I am going to live with these responsibilities. How can witch-like me be the queen of all the paranormal creatures?

The first thing I did after I got ready was to call Adrianna and Emilia. I wanted to know more about my sister Sofia, she came to me yesterday told her name and title. I want to confirm my suspicions She just disappeared. I want to learn more about her and spend time with her get to know her and how The paranormal world actually works.  she is my only relation in this humongous world. I really hope she is understanding I am sure she will help the damsel in distress more like a Queen in distress. The moment I called them they appear in front of me like magic I guess they use magic they could see the worry in my face Adrianna started to frown.
"What happened to you Jocelyn why do you look so worried," asked Adrianna all I could answer was to mutter "can you please call Sophia I need to talk to her " for which Emilia smiled and replied "so you already met your little sister hun that's great!  sorry for not telling you in advance she didn't want to spoil a surprise"
After which she disappeared I assuming that she went to call Sophia .. Adrianna sat there looking at Jocelyn.
"can you teach me how to prevent others from reading my mind it already happened twice to me once from you once my little sister"I literally pleaded

"Sure Jocelyn take in deep breaths calm your mind concentrate on your happiest moment but don't remember the memory just observe the happiness from it. now imagine your mind is a small patch of land  and that using your happiness as a tool to build a fence around it slowly piece of wood by wood you will build the fence around the small patch of land once you are done building your fence try to put down your fence and take it up with the power of happiness if you want to block others from reading your mind you put up the fence if you want to be normal and free put down the fence it's as simple as that" she replied
I tried to do what she told that deep breath , try to clear your mind imagine my first time I'm visiting Paris. Forgot the memory absorbed happiness from it imagine the small piece of land covered with flowers to protect the flowers I use my happiness and the wood lying down to build a fence a very tall fence once I was done building the fence I tried to put on the fence and put up the fence the power of my happiness surprisingly it worked it wasn't that hard I learnt one thing from my  powers a billion more to go
"Try reading my mind adrianna"
Adrianna closed her eyes and try to focus on something after 2 minutes she opened her eyes and said "very good job for the first time trying to block out me. that was a very powerful fence you build"
Well, I was happy I added extra things to the garden, flowers, and stuff. 

So I think it looks like Sofia back with Emilia.

"Jocelyn my dearest sister, my only sister who  I have never met in my life before yesterday. did you call me my dear sister, am I needed for your services your Queen? Is my princess duties at requirement? tell me my sister" Sofia said in very girly voice dramatically

Trying to play her game I replied back "Sofia! Princess of the paranormal! Right now your services as a princess are not needed, however, I would like to spend time with my only sister" I said dramatically
"There is no use talking to her like that she always talks like that. we all have played her game it never works! Yesterday was an exception as she met you for the first time"added Emilia after I finished the dramatic speech.
"What speaking in a very high pitch girly voice and being very dramatic , is that how she speaks?" I questioned
"Yes" said Emilia the same time Sophia said"yeah, Godmother is hurting my feelings I am trying to speak with my wonderful sister can you not let me do that!? My mum made you our godmother for a reason and please let me talk to my sister. Afterall she is our queen."
What Emilia was my godmother! My life is turning much more interesting
"Emilia you didn't tell you are my godmother that's a key piece of information godmother"I said shocked.  "Well, godmother have you started to hide the truth from us now? I always thought you were an honorable person?! "added Sophia with her usual dramatic self

" Jocelyn I am your Godmother I'm sorry for not telling you I was about to tell you in the near future but you see my second goddaughter here is crazy so please don't be angry with me"she said
"It's fine my godmother Emilia"I said dramatically for fun
Emilia was smiling when Adrianna commented "Em you are going to have so much fun handling these two and being their godmother they are just so much like each other . I thought sophia's trouble but I am not so sure about jocelyn either she might be a Queen but I think she is kid at heart"
Everyone burst into laughter. That day we had a girl's day we went shopping,  decorated the house, went to lunch . I learnt a lot about three ladies in my life.
