chapter seven

I was working on my baby, and by that I mean the car I praise more than life itself, when I felt someone's arms around my waist so I turned around.

"Is it soon yet?" Calum stood closer to me.

"Patience, Mr. Hood." I answered, turning my head to face the car again.

"Are you doing anything tomorrow?" He asked, now standing next to me.

"Not really, Sundays are usually my resting days so I just catch up on the tv shows I missed during the week and do nothing in general. But why do you ask?"

"I have the day off, and I was wondering if you wanted to head to the beach with me, it's no fun going alone."

"Okay, as long as I can bring Luke and Sam too."

"Fine, it'll just be a double date."

"It isn't a date." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Whatever you say, princess."

A few moments later my dad arrived and told me and Calum to go home, since we had finished our work and he could take care of this car alone.

"Give me your number, princess." Calum said when we leaved the garage.

"Very upfront, I see. Give me your phone." I replied, winking and giving him my phone so he could put in his number as well.

"I'll text you the details for tomorrow. Goodbye, princess."

"Goodbye, Calum."

When I got home I proceeded to call Luke to ask him if he wanted to go tomorrow.

"Hey! Is something wrong?" Luke answered the call.

"No, no. It's just that Calum asked me to head to the beach with him tomorrow and I asked if I could bring you and Samuel, he doesn't have many friends here and he already knows you and I just didn't want it to be awkward."

"Sure, I'm check in with Sam. Make sure you text me the time and stuff. Bye, not so professional, boss."

"Bye, stupid assistant that is my only friend except for Mary."

And now I was left alone with Netflix, "Orange Is The New Black" and popcorn. Life is amazing.

I woke up with my phone buzzing at one a.m. and I saw that I fell asleep on top of my computer, I'm just glad I didn't click on anything. I picked it up to see two new messages, one from two hours ago and from from just now.
