WARNING: THIS CHAPTER IS ESPECIALLY UGLY

When they'd arrived at Mike's apartment, Harry said loudly, "Ok, Mike, we're here – time to get out". Mike barely moved, but he mumbled something which Harry couldn't make out. "What?" he asked, Mike muttered again in reply, but Harry still couldn't understand him.

Harry got out of his car and walked around to the rear passenger door, closest to where Mike was sitting, and opened the door of the Land Rover. "Mike, come on, out ya go", said Harry.

"Can't. Too drunk, needs help", said Mike.

Harry sighed, and went back to the driver's door, opened it and turned off the ignition.  He grabbed his keys before walking back to the opened door to haul Mike's useless ass out of his ride.

"Come on", said Harry as he pulled Mike forward, helping him out of the car. He walked him to the outside door of the building and said, "Ok? Can you take it from here?"

Mike slumped down on the top step, which made Harry roll his eyes and sigh again. "Great, this is fucking great", he muttered to himself.

Eventually, he managed to get Mike's drunken ass into his apartment. He fumbled around for the light switch and then triumphantly flipped it on, before dumping Mike into the sofa. Harry thought he would be a good guy, thinking suddenly of Zayn and how angry he had been earlier because Harry hadn't been "hospitable" to Mike. Thinking about it then, he tried to make up for the twinge of guilt he still felt and began looking around the apartment for a trash bin. He figured someone this drunk would probably be vomiting soon and he thought he'd be nice and make sure Mike would at least not have puke all over his apartment when he sobered up the next day.

Harry found Mike's bathroom and finally located a small trash bin, which he picked up and walked out of the room with. But before he could get back into the living room, the hulking figure of Mike loomed as he stood in Harry's path with a terrifyingly evil gleam in his eyes.

"What are you doing, Harry?" Mike asked, as he smirked, and moved himself to the center of the hallway, effectively blocking Harry's way to the living room.

Harry stood still, like a deer staring at an oncoming train, with no ability to move out of its path. "Mike? What....what....are you...what are you doing?"

"Well, I'm not drunk, that's for sure", he said with an evil smile. "Although it sure is nice of you to take the time to make sure I got home safely. What a sweet boy you are, I would never have guessed".

Harry inhaled deeply, his eyes darting to the sides of the hallway. He sensed he was in danger. He KNEW he was in danger. He'd been right, he should have listened to his instincts about Mike. He looked at Mike, he was tall and strong. Harry wouldn't be able to fight his way out of this – whatever this was. He would have to try to talk his way out of it instead.

"Uhmm...I thought you were drunk", Harry said with a smile, attempting to play this down. Telling himself to stay calm. This wasn't what it seemed like, there would be a reasonable explanation, there HAD to be a reasonable explanation.

Mike shook his head slowly, "No, I'm not".

"Ok, well, fine – I really need to get going though, Zayn....he's....expecting me to be home by now", said Harry, trying to make sure his voice sounded strong and sure, and unsuspecting. He knew the last thing he should do was seem like he was afraid, he knew from past experience, that causing fear was the one thing a psychopath was the most proud of.

"I don't think so", said Mike, inching closer to Harry. "I think you should spend the night here, with me", grinned Mike, but the grin didn't reach his eyes. His eyes were full of malice and lascivious hunger.
