"Harry, what the hell are you doing?" Whispered Zayn. "Harry", he repeated gently shaking Harry's shoulder.

"Hmm", said Harry, sleepily rubbing his eyes.

"Why are you sleeping on the floor in the nursery...again?" Zayn asked.

"Just making sure they're ok", said Harry groggily.

Zayn sighed, shaking his head. "Babe, you can't keep doing this. You need to sleep properly. The twins are fine. We've got two baby monitors in our bedroom. We can hear them if they need us. You have to stop this, I'm serious".

"But I thought I heard them, then I came in here...and....I didn't want to leave yet so I just laid down and I ....I must have fallen asleep", said Harry.

Sighing again, Zayn whispered, "Harry, get up and come back to bed. Come on", he said quietly.

He checked on John and Mary in their cribs. They were sleeping like the tiny little angels they were. They'd been home for three months now, and Harry still kept slipping into the nursery and sleeping on the floor late at night because he couldn't stand to not be near them every second of the day. He was exhausted and Zayn was getting worried about him.

"Come on, H", Zayn whispered again, pulling Harry by the arm to get up. "Let's get back to bed before you wake them up".

Originally, they'd set up two bedrooms so the twins could have separate nurseries, but they cried when they were away from one another. At first, they screamed all night unless they were in the same crib. Only recently they had been able to put them in separate cribs and have them sleep all night, but Harry was still concerned that maybe they'd separated them too soon. They were twins, after all and had shared a womb, sharing a crib was second nature.

"Would it make you feel better if they slept in the same crib?" asked Zayn.

"Yes, they miss each other Zayn, I can tell. I don't want them to be separated until they're ready. That's what all the books say, that it's ok to have them sleeping together for the first year, if that's how they want it..and I think they do", Harry said, still groggy from lack of sleep.

"Ok, ok. That's fine. But, they're sleeping right now, so let's not move them until they wake up on their own, alright? They'll be hungry in another hour or so and will need to be changed, we'll do it then. But, come and sleep for a while, Harry, please? This isn't healthy for you", Zayn said.

"Alright", said Harry, as he walked to John's crib, then to Mary's, double checking on them, making sure Zayn hadn't missed anything when he looked five seconds before.

Zayn smiled softly at Harry, he was so damn cute with the twins, but he worried about them every second. He was going to need to relax or Zayn was afraid his worry would start affecting their babies. He was going to talk to Harry about it tomorrow, but for now, they both desperately needed sleep.

"Come on, babe", said Zayn, as he grabbed Harry around the waist and physically pushed him out of the room and into their bedroom just a few feet away down the hall.

He moved Harry to the bed and climbed in the other side. Pulling the covers up over both of them, he flung his arm around Harry so he wouldn't be able to get out of bed again without Zayn noticing. Zayn smiled to himself when he heard Harry's breathing change to one of deep slumber. It was about time, he thought.

Zayn had only had his eyes closed for ten minutes when he heard Mary start to cry, then John started, too. Zayn quickly got out of bed and shut the bedroom door, wanting Harry to get some sleep. He walked down the hall to the twins nursery and closed their door behind him, hoping they wouldn't wake Harry up. Turning on the small lamp in the corner, he picked them both up, one at a time, and changed their diapers. They kept a small fridge in the room with a small warming plate, so he could feed them without going downstairs in the middle of the night. Sofia had suggested it, and it had been a godsend.
