Lola walked towards Taylor slowly thinking of something, anything they could talk about.

After a few seconds Taylor had looked up her thin cat like eyes twisted upwards as she smiled.

"Hey" Lola smiled standing in front of her. "You're not getting in the pool?"

"My hair. You know how natural hair is" she giggled awkwardly pointing at her flat ironed hair.

"That didn't stop Michael pushing me in" Lola chuckled squeezing the tip of a strand of hair.

"Your leave out has gone frizzy too" she laughed.

"Are you serious?" Lola gasped feeling her head for her hair.

"I can help you straighten it out if you want" Taylor suggested.

"I swear you don't even like me" Lola crossed her arms."How will I know you're not gonna burn my hair off?"

"You haven't kicked me out your house yet, and I know damn well I wasn't invited." She laughed.

"Then why did you show up?"

"I was with Darius, but I don't think he likes me to be honest" she said looking over at the boys. "He barely says anything"

"He's just tryna Let you down easily" Lola said.

"Wow. Even you knew"

"Maybe you can't take a hint" Lola laughed.

Taylor just stared at her.

"You're not as bad as people think you are you know" Taylor laughed. "At least you told me upfront. My friends kept hyping me up every time I said 'hi' to him as if it even meant much"

"Why don't people like me?"

"You made friends with people that everyone wants to be friends with or date way too easily. You were literally like a black princess walking around with your many knights."

"So I really have haters"

"But I like you now though" Taylor chuckled.

"Thanks" Lola pouted rubbing her arms. "Imma go and get towels."

"Can I come in? It's cold out here"

"Sure. You can wait it the living room."

"Thanks" She said following her into the house.

"No problem" Lola stated walking up the stairs. She went into her room and grabbed her own towel to sort herself out.

"Damn I look like a troll" she stared at her reflection in her mirror.

She changed into grey joggers and a black top then put a bandana over her hair to cover up the mess the water had done.

Once she was down she grabbed three more towels and brought them downstairs and outside to the boys.

"When you guys are done you can clean yourself up. Don't come in the house until you're dry though." She told them.

"Damn, where'd those booty shorts go ma?" Emmanuel asked grinning.

"Shut up Emmanuel" she rolled her eyes and blushed before walking away into the house.

Lola and Taylor were in the living room when the boys walked in.

Taylor's cheeks were aching from laughing so much and Lola grinned cheekily. She was sat in between Taylor's legs as she straightened her weave for her.
