When Lola got back to her apartment, she set down the bags of Mcdonalds on the coffee table.

"Damn lil sis went out and bought us food" Jamal said taking a snap and hugging her sideaways. She scrunched her brows up.

"I thought you were paying" Lola stayed.

"Watching mean you thought I was paying?" He asked as he opened the bags up, Mika came out of the kitchen with cups.

"When we was talking about getting Mcdonalds you said you were paying" Lola replied.

"No I did not"

"Then why did I take your card" she laughed passing him his credit card back.

"What the fuck Lola?" He said sulking.

"Language" Mika laughed watching Sophia and Caleb run around Iris in a circle as she laughed.

"I asked you if you wanna pay and you said and I quote 'yeah yeah, we're gonna be eating good'" she shrugged.

"I was talking on the phone to Chris because he was asking where we was at"

Caleb spotted the food and ran over to us and looked in one of the takeaway bags.

"Gimme my food" he said snatching the bag away.

Caleb pouted And his top lip started quivering.

"Now look what you've done" I said waiting for him to cry.

"Noooo, Caleb don't cry" Mika said sternly. "If you want it ask nicely"

"Please" Caleb looked at Jamal hunching his back a little.

"Nah man, I payed for alla this" Jamal said pulling the bags of food closer to him.

"Hmmmmm" Caleb whined about to cry. Sophia and Iris stopped playing and looked at him.

"Don't cry" Iris said hugging rubbing his back like Lola would do to her making her smile.

Sophia saw the food and crawled up onto the couch next to Jamal and sat waiting.

"What are you doing?" He laughed watching her. She sat with her hands on her lap peeking into the bags of food.

"I wan food" she pointed at the bags and looked at Jamal.

"Say please" Lola said.

"Please JamJam" she asked leaning towards him.

"I told you she would keep calling me that" he said looking at Lola. "It's Jamal. My name's Jamal"

"Fooood!" Sophia said getting impatient.

"Say my name first"

"Let then eat" Mika said "it's gonna get cold".

"Jamarrl" she said angrily.

"See she can say it" Jamal said pleased.

Sophia stood up and walked over to Lola and started snitching.

Mika, clearly fed up of Jamal, grabbed the food bags and placed them on the dining table. Caleb looked at his mom then Jamal and walked over to her slowly side eyeing Jamal as he walked making Lola laugh.

She helped Mika give the little ones their food and served herself. When she sat down, the doorbell rang and she sighed.

"Don't look at me it's your place not mine" Mika said as she began to eat.

"I wasn't even going too" Lola said standing up.

She let Chris in and went back to sit down.

"Where's my food?" Chris said shutting the door and rubbing his hands together.
