I wake up to pounding on my door. I groan and sit up rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. Grabbing my glasses I open the door and I find Tyler and Travis standing there.
"What's going on?" I ask my voice rough with sleep.
"Jonathan, the scientists talked to Chris again this morning and he fucking told them about her! They got into an argument last night and apparently he knew the entire time that I had been telling you guys what he's been doing and saying," Tyler says really fast.
"What, fuck have they talked to her? Did they say anything or do anything?" I ask becoming more alert.
"I just got a message from Madison this morning saying that they literally came to her door this morning while she was still in her pajamas and pulled her for questioning," Tyler says showing me the message.
"Fuck fuck fuck, shit do you think they are going to want to do like an eye exam or at least try to?" I ask feeling this panicking sensation rising up in my chest.
"Like it was said last night, she needs to give consent for them to do anything to her and I learned that they they came here they both took the tests to be American citizens. They can't really do anything to her because she knows her rights," Travis says
"Let's just hope to god for once our government abides by the laws," I say thinking of all the times the government has been accused of breaking laws but none of it was ever brought to court or ever spoke of again.
"Come on the girls need to know about this, let's go," Tyler says
I quickly threw on some socks and shoes not caring to change out of my pajama pants and old t-shirt. We all left my building and made our way over to the female dorm. Thankfully the girls were suit mates so we knocked on Lacey's and Clarabell's door. Clarabell opened the door and it looks like we just woke her up.
"What are you guys doing here?" She asks rubbing her eye.
"Have you checked your messages this morning?" I ask not wasting any time.
"No, I literally just woke up because of you guys," she says opening the door more and letting us in.
"Well check them," Tyler says
Clarabell rolls her eyes and walks over to her desk and checks her pad. I can see her hands shaking as she read the message. I step back and get really for the outburst.
"THAT SLEEZY LITTLE SHIT!" She yells causing Lacey to pop her head out of the bathroom with her toothbrush hanging out her mouth.
"What's going on?" She asks talking around the toothbrush.
"Just read," Clarabell says handing Lacey her pad.
Lacey stands there and read for a second. She goes wide eyed and runs back into the bathroom. I hear pounding on a door so I'm guessing she is going to go tell Sally what's going on. I can hear some slight mutter before both Lacey and Sally come storming in.
"Chris and I are gonna have some problems now," Sally says handing Clarabell her pad back.
"Has she messaged anymore since then?" Lacey asks
"No, she hasn't and it's been almost an hour since the first message I received from her," Tyler says checking his pad.
"God damn it, what are we gonna do," Clarabell says and starts to pace around the room.
"There isn't a whole lot we can do. We can try to see if we can track where they are but besides that," Travis says with a shrug.
"I'll see if they are using a screen or a pad, anything that I can get a signal from I can track," Tyler says pulling out a screen from his bag and sits on the floor to get to work.
