The rest of the weekend went by without anything else happening. I finished the pictures and sent the collection to my Professor. The ones of Madison I sent to her. The rest of the weekend the others and I hung out but we didn't see Madison the rest of the weekend. Sally said she try to message Madison but only got back a message saying that she got busy with some family stuff. I didn't tell them what had happened Saturday.

It's Monday now and I'm laying my head on the table in the commons feeling like I am dying. I heard someone walk over and set something down by me before lightly shaking my shoulder. Looking up I see Lacey slightly pushing a cup of coffee over my way.

"Staying up late again?" She asks sitting down drinking her own cup.

"Yeah, I got finished with the homework and then started to work on my portfolio again. I lost track of time and before I knew it, it was almost three in the morning and I had a seven am class this morning," I say taking a sip of the coffee.

"Now I know why Sally tries to message you ever night to go to bed," she teases me.

"Yeah yeah, like you're any better. I've seen you posting on social media at odd hours of the night," I sit up and see some of the others making their way over.

They sat down and we start up just being loud and chattering to one another. I'm sitting back and staying quiet because I am still really tired. Looking around I see Chris and Madison at one of the small tables that are up against the far wall of the dinning hall. I hope I didn't cause any problems with them because I accepted Madison's offer of helping me. I let out a sigh and down the rest of my coffee.

The rest of the day I move around like I am the living dead. Today's classes just seemed to drag on and it was one of the days that I didn't have any classes with the others. I got a glimpse of Madison every now and then but thought it better if I just left her alone. It wasn't until after class that I felt someone tap on my shoulder. Turning around I see Madison standing there with a down cast look.

"Hey," I say

"Hey. I just wanted to say that the pictures look beautiful," she says after a second of being quiet.

"Thanks, it helped that I had someone of equal beauty helping out," I say but then felt my heart stop cause I realized that maybe what I said could make her uncomfortable.

"Oh, thank you," she says and from what I could tell her cheeks darkened slightly.

We stood there quietly for a few seconds. The halls were empty of any form of life. I stuff my hands in my pockets and look around a bit.

"So, I'm sorry if I caused any problems between you and your brother," I say breaking the awkward silence.

"No no, you didn't do anything. My brother is just really protective. We came here alone and my brother thinks that he needs to protect me all the time," she says which gives me a bit of relief.

"Well I hope that maybe it gets better. I mean we are in college after all and we all are adults now," I say

"Maybe. Anyways, I just was wondering if I could come to the movie night again on Friday. It was a lot of fun and I would like to hang out with you guys more," she says with a look of hope in her eyes.

"Yeah of course. You don't have to ask. Friday night, every week is movie night. Just come on by," I say with a smile.

"Wonderful. Thanks Jonathan. I have to get going. I'll see you later," she says before walking down the hall.

"Bye, I'll see you later," I wave and walk the opposite direction.

The rest of the day is uneventful. The others and I meet up to do some homework for our classes but of course we talk more then get work done but it's nice. We all are stress lately so it's nice to unwind and just joke around. At some point someone starts playing music and some of the others start dancing around. Lacey and Clarabell are the only two with coordination and actually  good dancing. Tyler is just dancing around like a dive with Sally following in suit. Travis and I are sitting back and laughing. We hear someone come in.
