I know I'm a selfish prick for thinking this, but it sure is boring when Shuichi isn't here.. A certain purple-haired male thought, resting his head on his hand as he stared into space. Something Kaito would do, probably.
As Minutes went by, Ouma heard a gentle knock on his door. It was most likely a girl, because of the tune of the knocking. Ooh, girl? Wait. Maybe it's just a feminine boy.. Either Shuichi or Kiibo... Nice, I'm getting laid today! He thought jokingly. Well, half jokingly. He was actually very nervous of opening the door, in fear that somebody would come in and..
"Ouma! Please let me in, I need to talk with you!"
Kokichi recognized the voice of Tsumugi Shirogane. This clearly baffled him, as Tsumugi usually never talks to him. What could she want from me?? All I wear is white.
The small male cautiously sneaked to the door, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. It's okay, Kokichi. She's a cosplayer, not a prostitute.. The boy thought to himself, opening his eyes and regaining his usual attitude as he opened the door. "Hmm? What do you want?" He asked, his voice hinting obvious caution and curiosity.
"O-ouma.. Um... May I please come in..?" The blue-haired female asked gently, fixing her glasses nervously.
"No." Ouma narrowed his eyes.
Tsumugi gasped, her eyes widening in surprise and desperation. "E-eh?! B-b-but I came all this way! This is r-really important.. So please..!"
"How do I know you're not gonna kill me?" Kokichi growled, getting ready to slam the door.
"I-i would never! I h-h-have no purpose to go anywhere a-anyway.. I-im just a regular, b-boring schoolgirl who spends her time reading Manga and m-making dresses! Someone as w-worthless as me doesn't deserve t-"
"Okay, shut up. I get it." The smaller boy snapped, completely opening his door to let the girl in. "Are you coming in or not?"
"O-oh! Yes.." Tsumugi apologized, then quickly shuffled herself inside Ouma's room. "I-im so sorry I let up a scene.. I-it is unusual for me to do that.."
"Like I said, it's fine, Tsumugi. You better not make me regret this.." Kokichi growled, shutting his door and turning around to face the taller girl. His brain immediately told himself to set up a defense pose to inflict harm, but he just smiled and crossed his arms in a care-free way.
"So, what's so important to interrupt my precious time?"
"It's a-about the killing game.." Tsumugi stated, putting her hand to her chin and looking away nervously.

"The killing game?" Kokichi raised his eyebrows. Sudden topic to bring up, Shirogane..
"Yes. The killing game.." The blue-haired girl turned back to him, her eyes hinting a sign of seriousness. "I-i need to ask you a favor.."
Kokichi just nodded, staring at her with a blank expression on his face. As if he were granting her permission to speak.
"W-well," Tsumugi started nervously, laughing a bit. "I was originally going to talk to Saihara, b-but he's with Kaito right now, so I couldn't interrupt.." She explained, adverting her gaze. "So I f-figured that if I asked you, you would know something that was going on.. Since y-you two know each other."
"Do you think I'm his boyfriend or something?" Ouma asked, throwing his hands behind his head and smiling.
"W-what?! No.. Well.. I-i mean.. No! I don't.." Tsumugi stuttered, trying to find her words. Of course she did..
"Would you c-come to the library with me..?" She asked, blushing from embarrassment.
"Woah! Easy there, girl. I'm not ready for dates yet." Kokichi joked, putting his hands up defensively. No.. No no no.. I know what's gonna happen.. Shit! I played right into her hands..! She's gonna pin me against the table and-
"D-date?!" Tsumugi blushed and jerked back. "No!! N-no!!! I-i don't like you that way..! I-i just need to check something there, and I need you to come with!" She gasped, a horrified expression on her face.
"Aww, what a pity. I'm the most likable character in this place!" The small boy sighed, but on the inside he was heavily sighing in relief. Could it be? Does she have the same fear as me?
"sorry.." Tsumugi muttered, but she regained her energy and blasted out of Kokichi's room with a new bubble of confidence. "C-come on! We need to be there before anyone else can.."
Ouma was about to ask why, but he found himself running after the Ultimate cosplayer.

The two finally made it, but they both were completely fine from running that much. The blue-haired girl immediately went to the bookshelves and started to search.
"Hey! What are we even looking for?" Kokichi called, looking at the books on the bookshelves. He caught sight of a teenage girl magazine, which made him cringe.
"'The complete history of Hopes peak academy'... I believe is the name.." Tsumugi called, frustrated among the shelves. She completely avoided one bookshelve, which was kind of odd..
"Is it this?" The purple-haired boy called, pulling out a large book with a least 400 pages.
"Yes!" Tsumugi gasped, dropping everything and running over to Kokichi. "How did you find it??"
"It's a secret!" The boy laughed, handing Tsumugi the book and heading over to the floor where the two sat down.
"Ah.. I-it has a lock on it.." Tsumugi sighed, looking worried.
Kokichi narrowed his eyes at the large book. "I got it." The purple-haired boy pulled out a long paperclip and picked at the lock for a few seconds, until the lock sprang open and allowed entry.
"Thank you, Ouma!" Tsumugi smiled, then opened the book.
"Why do we have to read this dumb old book, anyway? What's Hope's Peak academy anyways?? And why is this book so fucking big?!" The smaller boy instantly hissed after Shirogane opened the book.
"I-i don't know.. But yesterday I was reading this, and I just so happened t-to find some information about the Gopher project in here.. And I was going to tell Saihara about it b-but.." Shirogane sighed, flipping few of the pages.

"The Gopher project?" Kokichi blinked, smiling. "That's a dumb name."
"I-I found out from Monokuma.." Tsumugi continued, suddenly stopping as she gasped, looking at a certain passage. "Here!" She pointed her finger at the passage, smiling for the first time in forever.
Kokichi widened his eyes. "Tsumugi, I think we just fooled the killing game itself!" He laughed, leaning back and putting his hands on his head.
"Fooled the killing game..?" Tsumugi repeated, turning around and staring at Kokichi.
"Yes!! With this book, we can end the killing game, expose Monokuma AND the mastermind! Oh my god.. We can finally escape!" The purple-haired boy sprang up, looking at the ceiling with a hopeful smile. "This is the end! No one else has to die! W-we have to tell everyone, we gotta.."
Tsumugi smiled, springing up and launching herself at Kokichi, crashing into a tight hug. In her surprise, he hughed back. "We're heroes!!" she cheered, holding him close as she tipped her head onto his, resting it on the soft purple hair. (dont you dare ship this they're just hapPY friends)
Kokichi closed his eyes and started to sob. "I-i can finally see them again.. Thank y-you so much, Shirogane..! I'll have to repay you when we get out!!"

As the two parted ways, Tsumugi quietly walked to a certain classroom and opened it, quickly shutting the door behind her and watched the monitor appear before her.
She walked to it and adjusted her glasses, narrowing her eyes.
"Ppft.. Gopher project.." she muttered, moving the mouse to a certain file and clicking on it.
Are you sure you want to implant :GOPHER.WORLDPROJECT(2): into Flashback light?
In seconds, a sound erupted from the locker. She walked over to the locker and opened it, bending down to receive the Flashback light.
"Huh.. I never thought that someone like Ouma would believe such an obvious lie." She spoke to herself, grinning a bit.
"That doesn't matter.. I have Ouma's trust, now all I need is Saihara's."
The cosplayer then walked out of the room, quietly shutting the door.
She walked down the halls to her dorm, only to be stopped by a familiar bear.
"Tsumugi!" the bear, Monotaro gasped. "What are you doing up so late?"
"Deliver this to Monokuma." Tsumugi whispered, handing the item to Monotaro.
"Oh! Um, okay." Monotaro says, staring at the flashback light in curiosity.
"Make sure he gets it. Do not forget." The blue-haired girl instructed, then swiftly walked past him and shutting herself in her dorm for the night.
