"I can't believe we are heading back already!" Tillie squeaked
"I know right it feels like we just got here!" Ruby said enthusiastically.
"I agree" Anne said while flipping through the booklet that Matthew had given her, she had written multiple stories over that week and couldn't wait to give them to Miss Stacy to read.
"So" Diana said liking arms with Anne as they walked around the airport waiting for the teachers to tell them where to go. "Does Gilbert know you have a crush on him?"
Anne stiffened and stopped walking. "I don't have a crush on him!"
Diana laughed, "okay okay... if you say so"
"Children! Please start boarding the plane now!" Miss Stacy called.
"Oh bye Diana!" Anne said hugging her bosom friend.
"Bye Anne!" Diana replied
*on the plain*
Once Anne was sitting down she reached for her bag and pulled out a small bag of skittles.
"Can i have one?" Someone asked from beside her.
Gilbert.
"Hmm..." Anne said jokingly "ok but only because I feel sorry for you since im at the top of the our English class and your not"
Gilbert gasped in mock surprise, "i'm on the top not you!" He said
"Ha you wish!" Anne scoffed
"Nope, I have better things to wish for" Gilbert said
"Yeah? Like what?" Anne asked smugly
"Like yo-" Gilbert was interrupted by Cole.
"Guess who's sitting right behind you guys!"Cole said, sticking his head between their two seats.
"Go Away Cole!" Anne said while pushing his head back through the seats.
"Oh I get it you want some Alone time!" Cole said not missing a beat.
"Is W- No i just UGH COLE" Anne stammered going red.
Finally the plain started to move, Anne handed Gilbert some skittles and together the began to watch the rest of the Harry potter movies.

Finally the plane ride was over and all the kids were running into their parents arms, except for Gilbert his dad was still sick and couldn't pick him up.
"Mathew!" Anne cried as she ran into his arms, "Oh Matthew i missed you so much! I had so much fun though it was AMAZING, one time we were in the pool and we made josie fall in and-"
"anne" Mathew said "wait till we are in the car to tell me what happend"
"Right" Anne said "Sorry"
"Hey Anne?" Someone said from behind her, she turned around to face Gilbert, "Gilbert?" She said confused
"My dad is still sick could you... drive me home?" He asked.
"Of course!" Anne said glancing at Mathew.
On the car ride home Anne talked and talked about what they did in extreme detail, every slightly big word Anne used would cause Gilbert to smile to himself.
"Bye Gilbert!" Anne called from the car window as they drove away from dropping Gilbert off at his house.
He turned around and waved until the car was out of sight.
"Guys" Josie said to Diana,Tillie,Jane,Ruby,Anne,Gilbert,Moody,Charlie,Cole and Jerry. "To celebrate us coming back from a week long school trip I think we should go to a party."
All eleven kids had all met up at the lake of shining waters to catch up and talk about the school trip they had just got back from.
"A what?" Diana exclaimed shocked.
"A party!" Josie confirmed
"Where?" Jerry asked
"It's in town don't worry i know how to get there and they don't have age restrictions as long as your over 14!" Josie added.
"That's still age restrictions..." Anne and Gilbert both said at the same time, they glanced at each other, getting lost in each other's eyes.
"When?" Moody asked.
Josie glanced at all of them, "Tonight!" She said
"Tonight?!" Gilbert Charlie and Ruby all exclaimed.
"Yep!" Josie said "SO all of you get home and get all dressed up!"
All eleven kids got to their feet and began to walk home,
"Marilla?" Anne called from the hallway once she got back home.
"Yes Anne?" She replied from the kitchen.
"Um... i was wondering if tonight i could go to Josie's house?" Anne lied.
"Sure Anne" Marilla said
"Cool!" Anne called as she ran to her room to get ready.
