Anne fiddled with the camera on the side of the pool taking another picture of her friends, a huge grin on her face. her legs slowly swaying back and forth, every once and a while the chill winter air would escape through the door from people coming in and out and hit her back making her shiver.
"hey" a familiar voice quietly whispered from below her, she looked down to see Gilbert resting his head beside her legs, "whats up" she said placing the camera beside her.
"Everyone wants you to come join the game" he said running his hand through his wet curls making Anne's heart flutter. Anne looked up into the pool to where all her friends stood playing.
"ok" she said slipping off the edge into the pool. they both made their way towards the group and joined in the game.
*five mins later*
"ohmygod! DIANA pass it to me UGH" Ruby yelled shaking her head
Diana chuckled and tossed the ball to Gilbert, but Anne being Anne jumped in front of him and grabbed it with a triumphant scream. "HEY!" he exclaimed, shoving her under the water making her shriek. she shot back up spluttering and laughing, she turned her head to see he was frantically swimming away so she charged after him. "GILBERT BLYTHE GET BACK HERE" she yelled.
he got to the edge of the pool and stopped, she stopped too catching her breath. Suddenly he ran up and wrapped his arm around her waist making her squeal, "say cheese!" he said pressing his cheek to hers taking the photo of them both grinning, he took several photos, both of them making different faces. the whole time both their hearts beating faster than normal. quickly Anne splashed Gilbert and began slowly running away from him, he charged after her and grabbed her ankle making her spin around, she was now running away backwards hopping as fast as she could giggling and shrieking. As Gilbert was getting closer Anne did one big push preparing herself backwards so she smashed into someone. instantly Anne stopped and spun around shock on her face.
"watch where you're going!" Billy yelled staring down at Anne.
she froze. "i uh.. sorry," Anne looked down and stepped backwards, bumping into Gilbert.
"everything alright?" the brunette asked.
Billy instantly shrunk down as soon as he saw Gilbert stepping closer, remembering the fight they had in the cafeteria,
"yup" he said swallowing nervously.
"Let's go," Gilbert said, taking Anne's hand and shooting Billy one last threatening glare before starting the red head away.

"Truth or Dare" Josie said to Tillie with a bored tone.
"dare-" Tillie started before being cut off by Ruby.
"This is BORING guys" she whined, the group of girls all murmerd in agreement, their hair still damp from the pool.
"how about..." Josie said a sly grin on her face, " we get the boys to play something with us?"
Anne groaned, "boys don't solve everything you know" she said
Josie rolled her eyes, "anne if you want to get a husband you're going to have to get boys to actually like you"
Anne huffed, "ill be the wife of adventure" she muttered to herself. Smirking Josie stood up and walked out of the girl's bedroom; a few moment's later Cole, Jerry, Gilbert, Moody and Charlie all came running into their room and sat down in a circle.
"What are we playing?" Jerry said in his subtle french accent.
"7 minutes in heaven so everyone sits girl boy girl boy" Josie says instantly grabbing a bottle from her bag. Anne's heart dropped as she shuffled to the side so that Jerry and Cole could sit next to them. she glanced up and sitting across from her was Gilbert, she looked down instantly, blushing.
