Chapter 1

Rae's P.O.V

Tomorrow will be the last day of school and after summer,I will finally start high school.

I'm kinda scared, I'm afraid of slowly losing all of my friends, especially my best friend, Asher. I really like him and I don't want to lose him.

~Next day~
"Hey dumbass" I yell from across the courtyard. Asher turns and looks at me and starts running towards me. He starts laughing and sits down next to me on the bench. Wow his laughter is something I will never get tired of hearing.

"Hey Rae, so are you happy school is about to end?" Asher asked.

"Well yes but also no" I answered.

"What do you mean, summer will begin and after we'll finally be in high school" Asher said with excitement.

"See that's the thing, I'm scared of us not being able to see each other, and I'm scared of losing all of my friends" I explained.

"You shouldn't be scared because you'll never lose me" Asher said and he gave me a hug which I really needed at the moment.

"But what if we don't have the same classes, and you forget about me and just leave me for your new friends" I say as I was about to cry.

"Hey don't cry, that will never happen I will always be there for you don't worry about that, look at me" he says as he turns me,making sure I was facing him.

"I promise I will never leave you, I will always be there Okay? So please don't cry you should be happy that we are almost out of this shit hole" he says reassuring me.

I nod and I hug him, " promise?" I whisper,loud enough so he can hear.

"I promise Rae" he says as he hugs me tighter.

I felt like we were the only two people in the world, I felt butterflies in my stomach, only he can make me feel this way.
