Chapter 14

I've been happier these past couple of days. I made a new friend along the way. Her name is Loren.

Homecoming was coming up in just 2 weeks. I invited Loren over so we can shop for a dress and some heels.

I run downstairs looking for Lisa to ask her if it was okay. As I was about to turn Lisa pops out of nowhere and she jumps in fear.

"Jesus Christ, Rae you scared me" Lisa said and she put her hand on her chest.

"Oh I'm sorry I just came down to ask you if my friend could come over" I ask.

"Yea sure. For what?" Lisa asked.

"We are planning to shop online for a dress" I answered.

"Why do you need a dress"Lisa asked curiously.

"For homecoming" I answered once again.

"Oooo exciting, is Grayson taking you to homecoming" she asked wiggling her eyebrow"

"Oh he hasn't asked me" I blushed.

"I have a feeling he will" Lisa said rubbing my shoulder.

"Anyway I have to go grocery shopping, tell the boys I went to the store when they get back" she said as she pick up her purse.

"Sure no problem"I said as I went upstairs.

As I entered my room I heard the front door close.

I pull out my computer already looking for dresses. A few minutes later I hear the door bell ring. I go downstairs to see who it was.

I open the door revealing Loren. "Hey Rae" she says in excitement. "Hey Loren"I hug her and let her come inside.

As she walks in I hear her mutter something. "What did you say" I questioned.

"Oh I said this house looks familiar" she said.

"Oh" I said. That's weird. "So um do you want to look online for a dress" I asked.

"Sure" she said. I lead her to my room and sat on my bed. We searched for dresses for like an hour. "Found a dress that I love"Loren says as she shows me the dress. It was a sparkly sliver dress but it was way to short.

"Isn't it to short"I asked. "I like my dresses short"she said. "Anyway did you find a dress" she asked. "Yes i did" I said as I showed her the dress I plan on buying.it was long blue dress.

"Oooo I love it" she said. I hear the front door close. "Hold on" I said. I rush Downstairs to see who it was,only to see Ethan and Grayson in the kitchen. "Hey um your mom went to the store" I told them.

"Oh thanks for telling me I'm gonna go give her a call" Ethan said as he went to his room. Once Ethan was gone I run into Graysons arms to give him a hug. He picks me up and I wrap my legs around his waist, "I missed you" I said as he twirls me. "I missed you too princess" he said as he pecked my lips. He puts me down and whispered in my ear "want to go to your room" he wiggles his eyebrows. "Grayson I have a friend over" I say as I lightly punch his shoulder.

"Grayson?" I hear Loren. I can hear the confusion in her voice. "Loren?"Grayson asked confused.       

" you two know each other"I asked them. "Um yes, Grayson is my ex" Loren says awkwardly.

"Loren leave" I say as I point to the door. "No problem" she said. She looked angry. "What the fuck, you didn't tell me you had an ex" I yell at Grayson. "I don't I used to like Loren but she never payed attention to me" Grayson said.

"It's fine gray, as long as your honest" I said. I gave him a hug, I looked up at him, "want to go to my room" I wiggle my eyebrow. "I thought you'd never ask" Grayson said as he picked me up as I giggled.

~Loren's P.O.V~

As I rush to my car I hear my phone ring.

"What Asher" I asked. Oooo I was so angry.

"Did everything go as planned" he asked." yes don't worry soon you'll be with Rae and I'll soon be with Grayson" I smirked.

"Good don't screw up I need everything to go as planned"

"Yea Yea Okay I got it" I said as I rolled my eyes.

Can't wait till homecoming.
