I check the time and see that it's time to go to the hospital. Rae's been in a coma for 4 years. That's 4 years that she's missed. She didn't get to see raven right away after birth since she passed out.
So I kept all the baby pictures and I took so many pictures all the way up to now Incase she wakes up. So she can see the pictures of our beautiful daughter. I hope she would wake up today, if she doesn't they will have to pull the plug. I won't let them, I won't let them take my wife away, I won't let them take ravens mom away.
"Okay raven it's time to go see mommy" I say. "Will she wake up this time, I want her to wake up." I hear her high pitch voice. "We'll see" I say smiling.
"Ethan can you get raven ready" I ask. "Yea no problem bro" he said. "Come raven" he giggle as he ran off with raven.
*play song, keep on replay*
While Ethan was getting raven ready I get up and go outside. I slowly breakdown. I let myself slide down the concrete wall and burst out crying. I miss her so much. I look up at the night sky and see a shooting star. I slowly close my eyes, "I wish Rae would wake up" I say to myself.
I look at the time once again and I quickly wipe my tears away. I got up and went back inside to get raven. Once I walk in I see raven running towards me. I pick her up and twirled her around and laughed.
She giggles and smiled, "ok let's go see mommy now" she said. I look at Ethan and he has a worried look on his face. "Hey raven I have to talk to your father, in the mean time go play in your playroom" he said as he rubbed her shoulder. "Otay uncle E"she said as she ran pass him.
Once she went In her play room thats when hell broke lose. "What the fuck are you going to tell her if Rae doesn't wake up" he whispered yelled so raven couldn't hear us argue. "I don't fucking know" I whisper yell.
"Well come up with something cause I don't want my niece to find out the hard way" he said as he pulled his hair back. "I don't want her to get hurt because of her mothers death"
"I will" I say. "Raven time to go" I yell from the living room. "Coming dad" she yelled. She jumped and I catch her and I put on a fake smile so she won't ask questions. "Let's go" I say with a smile. "Otay"
~at hospital~
We walk in and raven released my hand and ran to Rae. "Hi mommy!" She said in her high pitch voice. "I know you might wake up today or you might wake up tomorrow" she said as she climbed on the hospital bed. I felt tears rolling down my cheeks and I quickly wipe them away so raven wouldn't notice.
"So today we made a snowflake, daddy helped me cut it and uncle E helped me put the glue on and the glitter. It's almost Christmas so we put it on the twee" she squealed the last part since she was excited for Christmas. "I want you to wake up before Christmas, I want to spend Christmas with you" she said as she grabbed Rae's hand.
She then laid down next to her and grabbed Rae's other arm and wrapped her arm around her, "Please wake up mommy" she said as her voice cracked at the end. And Rae didn't wake up, just like the other times. "Hey sweetie can I take to mommy alone" I asked. "Yes daddy" she said. I walk out and ask one of the nurses to watch raven outside the room.
I go back into the room and it's just Rae and I. "Please wake up baby, I miss you so much" I say as my voice cracked and tears roll down my face.
"Raven is 4 years old now" I chuckle and cried even more. I grab her hand and put her hand on my face. I close my eyes. "I love you so much Rae please don't leave us alone, I can't lose the mother of my child, I can't lose the love of my life" I cry even more with my eyes still closed.
"Remember the day we got married" I say remembering the day I made her mine. "And when we danced" I chuckle and I can feel my shirt getting wet from all the tears I've cried. "I singed to you and every word that I sang" I took a deep breath and exhaled, wiping some tears away, "I meant every single word" I added. I still had her hand close to my face and my eyes were still closed.
"G-Grayson?" I hear a voice that I thought I'd never hear again. Her hand started moving and she started to caress my face. I open my eyes to see if it was true. And there she was, awake with her eyes full of life. "Baby" I cried out and smashed my lips onto hers. She kissed back, I felt a feeling I've never felt in a long time. She brought up her other hand up to my head and brought me closer.
I pull away and cried even more, but this time it wasn't sad tears, tears of joy.
"Mommy!" Raven comes running in and she's crying. She climbs on the bed and hugs Rae.
"Umm hi who are you" Rae asked raven. My eyes widened but then I remembered. Rae has never met raven before.
"She's our daughter" I cry. "Remember, we planned on naming her raven" I cry out. Rae's eyes began to tear up and she was in shock. She slowly hugged raven and seconds later she held raven even tighter and cried. "My babygirl" Rae cries out. "I missed out so much" Rae cries even more as she pulls away from the hug to get a good look at raven. "You're so beautiful" Rae choked on her tears and brought raven closer to her. I cry and walked over to my small family and hugged them closer to me. "Finally you woke up mommy, we've been waiting forever" raven cried. "I'm here for you now baby" Rae cries as she put her other arm around me.
"I'm glad you woke up from your nap time" raven says innocently.
My family is finally together now

I was grinning the whole time I was watching the twins video. They'll be great dads one day. Grayson has my fucking heart he is daddy material. FUCK. Sorry I had a little fangirl moment.
