Chris POV

After that amazing date, Melissa and I had an incredible few weeks of dating. I would always sneak kisses in between shooting scenes, and we rarely ever spent a night apart. I would always bring Drift over to her place, or she would bring Farley over to mine, and we would just lay in bed with the dogs and watch a movie, or just be in each other's presence. I felt something for her that I hadn't felt for anybody. When I saw her eyes, like the color of the ocean after a hurricane, I would do anything to protect her, to keep her safe. I loved her. Of course, she didn't know that yet. We didn't say "I love you" just yet, but I knew I wanted to, and I could tell she loved me back.

I woke up one morning next to Melissa, and I studied her. She was so peaceful just sleeping. I didn't know how anyone could be so beautiful just breathing, but she was. Her eyes slowly opened and she turned to face me. "Good morning!" She said half awake.

"Good morning, beautiful," I replied, I love you, I thought. Today I would say it. I had a plan. I would get home before she did to set up the perfect date, and at the peak of the date I would look at her and just say, "I love you."

She smushed her face against my cheek, "Can we just lay here all day?" she asked.

I laughed, "Mel, I would love to, but we have to go to work! You have that big flying scene today, remember?"

"Yeah yeah, I know, but let's just lay here for 5 more minutes," she said still quite groggy.

"Ok," I told her. I loved her so much.

Melissa's POV

We eventually got out of bed and were on our way to the set. As we drove, our hands interlocked, I looked at him and only one emotion filled my heart--love. I really did love him.

That day, we were going to shoot a flying scene. It would be the highest I had ever gone up on a wire. I wasn't that scared because I really trusted all of the stunt coordinators, I was more excited than anything. Chris said he would come to watch even though he wasn't exactly in the scene.

We arrived and I immediately got changed into the Supergirl suit. Once I made my way to the set I saw the contraption that would be lifting me into the air. It was made of two tall support beams, about twenty feet apart for each other. There was a wire coming from each beam, attached together at the middle by the harness I would be put in. As people hooked me up to the harness, the director started walking towards me.

"You ready for this?" The director asked as he walked in my direction.

"Of course I am!" I said with a big smile.

"Ok so here's how it's going to go," he started, "Once I yell action you'll say your lines and then once the explosion goes off you'll go up. Make sure you're in the flying position, got it?"

"I've done this a lot, don't worry I got it!" I laughed. Just then I saw Chris walk up next to some of the producers. I waved and he smiled back at me.

"All right, places!" The director yelled.

I got into position and he yelled action. I recited my lines and then I heard the explosion. It was louder than I was used to. Usually, the fake explosions would make a loud pop, but this went off with a bang. Alright, I thought, it's probably just a bigger explosion for this scene. That's what the stunt coordinators seemed to think, too, because the wires pulled me up into the air anyway. I heard another bang, wasn't there only supposed to be one explosion? Suddenly my peripheral vision was filled with a fiery orange. I heard people yelling below.

"What's happening?" I yelled to the director down below. "Can someone get me down from here!" My chest started to fill up with fear. And that's when it happened.

I heard a distinct snap on my right as the wire broke. It thrashed across my body and cut deeply into my forehead. I felt a searing pain diagonally across my chest as I swung from the one wire that was still intact. I slammed into the support beam before the left wire snapped, too. I felt the imprint of each metal bracket of the support beam burn with pain on my back as I fell to the ground in slow motion. I watched as the wires thrashed back and forth above me, and heard screaming and yelling all around. I felt the thick, hot blood stream down. It smelled of metal and suffocated me as it spread down my face. Every part of my body was engulfed in searing hot pain, and that's when I hit the concrete.

Hi it's the author.

So i know that this may not be a real scene, but I thought that this was a creative way to bring some drama into the story. I hope you liked it!
