Song: Dusk Till Dawn--Zayn Malik ft. Sia
It's been a month since the threat letter came in and since I had my little run-in with Zane who I had succeeded avoiding despite having some classes together, and right now, I'm home free. The sleeping pills have doing their job as well. Putting me into a dreamless sleep. Worth it.
Where was I with the whole threat note thing?
As for that, security agents stated that the threat was marked and search for him has begun. But if we are in anyway, physically threatened, we'll have to move...again and that, I do not want.
The reason is just that since we moved from New York to California, I'd never felt so alive. Making a friend which is kind of nice and first step to overcoming what had held me bound for three years.
Ellie has made me feel at home and one of the closest, up to the point that my parents and I see her as family. Sometimes, we have dinner together or watch movie marathons. She' s still a sucker for Edward Cullen. It's been more than five years since the last sequel was released and she's obsessed with it. She even asked me which of the Hemsworth brothers is my favourite.
Truth is that it's forever gonna be Chris. Have you seen the guy?
Well, Ellie turns out to be my partner in crime. If you're asking what I mean, we accidentally broke a vase that my mum bought recently, so we just ran to pottery store to replace it. The $21 dollar purchase was all worth it. She never suspected a thing.
Ellie is my drama queen. She accidentally walked on the dissection of frogs during Biology and she screamed before breaking down into tears, getting looks from the students and a glare from Mr John.
"What are you doing here Ms Smith?" he asked still looking at Ellie who had dropped her bag on the floor and was in tears.
"How could you people be so cruel? Killing and slicing up innocent creatures—"
"Sure they are dead but who cares? It's not like—" a boy who raised his hand up states and everyone else in the class nod in agreement.
"Shut up Eric!" she says angrily and sits on the floor and puts her head in between her clasped hands and cries even harder. With the way she spoke, I think Eric was afraid and dropped his hand down, staring at what was going on before him. "You're slicing them up and..."
Okay, I think that's enough. I walk out from the crowd around her and ask Mr John for permission to take her out of the class.
"Yes please." he states.
I turn back to look at Ellie. "Come on." I pick her up and her bag that was laying on the floor.
"I can't believe they'd ever do that to poor innocent creatures that have done nothing but love us," she laments as we both leave the Biology lab. "That's why I never loved it from day one."
"I understand you," I say knowing that I'm missing the best part.
"Promise me you won't slice frogs or any other creature like them..."
