Chapter 9- Chasing Petals

Ruby woke up and helped her friends pack up camp. They hit the road to Mistrial as soon as they could. They had traveled for miles and miles on foot. Weiss's feet began to hurt so they rested for thirty minutes. As they were all resting, Ruby got up and walked in circles around the tree. She saw a white rose petal that landed in from of her. When she tried to pick it up it flew away from her and Ruby began to follow it.

The rest of her crew got up, "RUBY." Ruby kept running after the petal. She was tempted by it for some odd reason. She ran for half a mile until it landed on the surface of a lake and Ruby stopped at the edge of the water. Everyone else stopped next to her.

"What are you running after," Yang asked.

Ruby looked up at her, "The petal." Ruby looked back and she saw it dive underwater. Out of nowhere, Ruby dived into the water after it and saw it float into a cave so she followed it. Qrow and Oscar dived in after her ad so the rest of Team RNJR while Yang, Blake and Weiss stayed with the ritual from Mistrial. Ruby found an orb that was glowing deep with in the cave and she picked it. It began to glow brighter When Qrow and the rest of Team RNJR got to her. It created a big boom and everything around them changed. The cave walls became purple and Ruby dropped the orb. She need Air so she went out of the cave and came to the surface of the pond. Her Uncle, Oscar and the rest of team RNJR on the shore. The place was strange so Ruby swam to the shore of the pond to get out of the water.

"Ruby, What did you do," her uncle asked her. He noticed that everyone was wearing different and the same necklace from the pond was hanging around Ruby's neck. He took it from her neck, "I thought I told you to get rid of this, huh?" They heard a party and singing into the distance.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY SHE STARTED HER REIGN

A GREAT TEN YEARS TO HER FAIRLY MERRY REIGN DAY

HIP-HIP-HURRY!

A voice sang louder than all of them. Ruby became curious and so did the others as they walked to an open Yard. They saw strange people playing music and switching seats. When they got to the door of the party of strange people, Everyone stopped and looked at them.

"Well Hello, Come join us," Said a white tailed rabbit with a scare on it's arm. He started laughing, "Look how wet you all are."

"Wet people... WEEEET PEEEEOOOOPLE," the Mad hatter called. Everyone got up and started running around the table as they grabbed the six.

"HEY What's the Big Idea," Qrow asked as they pulled him in too. They ran around the huge table two times until Ruby Tripped. She fell to the floor and Th Hatter and the White rabbit tripped over her.

"Ouchie," Ruby said.

The Hater sat up, "HHHOOOOOOOLLDD UUUUPPPP." He looked at Ruby and took pieces of her hair in his hands, "OOOh She dried Quick."

"Um," Ruby felt awkward. The hatter got up and examined the rest of her crew.

"Hmmmm, You all appear to be dry too now... Well A Young'n can sit on dry cuitans if dry itself," That Hatter turned to Ruby helping her up, "Very Very sorry miss, But i I saw you were wet and here in Wonderland we dry ourselves by running."

"My, Haven't I seen you from somewhere," The White rabbit said as he sat on the table. He leaned over to take a closer look at her, "Is this the Queen? She sure as gotten a bit shorter."

"What? I'm not a ruler of anything," Ruby replied all confused. The rest of hate group was confused.

"Uh, Queen," Qrow asked.

"Did you cut your hair your highness," The White rabbit asked, "Did you get a new cloak. Are you changing your style again? My your voice has gotten high. How did you do it?"

"Wait, I'm confused, What Queen are you talking about," Ruby asked.

"The Queen of Roses," The rabbit replied, "The Majestic and Brave, Summer Rose!" Everyone's eyes widened.

"Wait, What," Qrow asked. Now he was really confused. She had been dead for 12-14 years. How could this be?

"The Majestic and Brave Summer Rose," The rabbit repeated.

"I'm not Summer, I'm her Daughter," Ruby replied.

Everyone gasped and the rabbit passed out dramatically, "OH NO."
