RWBY The Summer Rose Series Book 1- Roses in Wonderland

Chapter 16- The White Queen's castle.

They get to The White Queen's castle in Marmoreal. Summer came through the doors of The White Queen's throne room and she got up from her seat. Team RNJR, Qrow and Oscar followed behind her. The White Queen came towards Summer, "Queen Summer, What's the trouble?"

"Your sister," Summer replied, "She's taken my kingdom. I came with the book, the necklace and some old friends from my old world to get your help to fight her back."

The White queen turned around and put her hand o her mouth, "I always knew this would happen."

"I brought the Vorpal sword in case if she was going to snatch that too," Summer said.

The White Queen turned back around to Summer, "Oh Thank goodness. You and your friends can stay here for protection if you need to. There are extra rooms upstairs."

Summer handed her the bag and the sword and The White Queen took it in her hands, "I'm asking you to protect this for the sake of Wonderland, Please."

The White Queen sighed and nodded, "Together we both will protect it. I'll take it for tonight. Now rest. It's sundown and your friends look tired."

The White Queen led them to their rooms and everyone settled in for the night except for Summer. She paced back and forth in her guest room as she worried herself with doubts. She stopped pacing and sat in the chair in front of her mirror until she spotted something red on her torso in the mirror. It was her blood. There was knock on the door and in came in the White Queen. She had a bottle of ointment cleaner with her.

"Summer," She asked, "I thought I'd help you clean your death wound."

Summer nodded, "Come in."

The White Queen did as so and shut the door behind her, locking it. As Summer zipped down her dress, The White Queen set out a white fitting nightgown with a white robe on her bed. She then went to help Summer clean up her stomach, "I sent some of my me over to your city to help out with the evacuation in case if there are people still there.I thought I'd return the favor for many of favors you willing did for me over the years of your reign."

"Thank you so much Marina," Summer replied. She sighed.

"What's wrong?"

"All of these years. I tried to be forgiving to your sister, but all she does is destroy."

"Remember what I told you about here before your reign. As much as I love my sister, she doesn't see or understand the beauty of royalty's friendships," The White Queen said as she finished up cleaning Summer's stomach. Summer took a new roll of bandages and wrapped it around her stomach and torso. As the White Queen cleaned up, Summer put on the nightgown and robe. Before The White Queen opened up the door to leave, she spoke again, "I know this is hard to understand, but it's okay to know that you can't change everybody. Just understand their past."

"I know," Summer replied. She gave a kind grin and the White Queen opened the door to see Qrow, who was almost about to knock on the door. She opened up the door and stepped out of the way as Qrow came in. The White Queen smiled and left them alone in Summer's guest room. She looked at him with worry, "Qrow?"

He slightly cocked his head in worry, "Are you okay Summer?" He then came closer to her and she hugged him.

She began to sob on him and he put his arms around her, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry for leaving. I never meant to leave."

"Shhh. relax," Qrow comforted her, "I know. Everything is going to be fine." Qrow started to stroke her long hair. She sniffed and calmed down a bit as they sat on the bed. A few minutes later, they laid down together as Qrow stroked her arm and she shut her eyes. WHen morning came, They both got up to go to breakfast and found out tha Ruby was nowhere to be seen, so Summer headed out to the woods.
