"What the Heck went on back there," Qrow asked. Marina and Summer were sitting on a little couch in the study, while Qrow paced back and forth.
"Qrow, you know me," Summer said.
"Please," The White Queen begged, "You can blame me. I should have stopped Summer back there. I know how it works."
"Was it mental, again," Qrow asked.
"Yes," Summer looked down in shame, "I guess it was the one thing that never went away when I came here. I really wish I wasn't this way sometimes."
"Oh, Summer," Marina shook her head in concern, "Don't say that. It's a strength of yours when you go to battle. Sure it will haunt you off of the field-"
"I MURDERED MANY BACK THERE. I can't LIVE with that," Summer yelled as she got up. She sat down and hid her face in her hands.
Qrow sat down next to her and hugged her, " You clicked. That's okay. You saved us though. After tonight you'll prove it's nothing."
"It was only her men you killed. My men used flames to survive your horror stunt," The White Queen mentioned, "My sister's men are trained to do bad things, Summer. There is nothing to change her and them."
Summer calmed down and put her hands in her lap. She nodded as she sighed and rubbed her hands together, "You're right and that's why we must pull through with the war tonight."
"And since you haven't any men, you can use mine," The White Queen replied, "Let's face it. Your men are either gone or enslaved."
"You're all right," Summer agreed. The clock struck two and The White Queen got up. Summer looked at her, "Is it almost time?"
She nodded. Both Qrow and Summer got up from the couch. They parted ways at the doorway. Before Summer could go to her room, The White queen took Summer to her room.
"Now, I understand that you came here without anything, but the book, the necklace and the vorpal sword," said Marina. She walked to her closet and opened it up., "Which is why, I have offered to give you some clothes to fight in."
The closet was full of fighting wear and summer went up to it, "Wait, I get to choose?"
"Yes!"
Summer began to look through the closet and pulled out a few outfits. When she didn't agree with the two others on the bed, She picked up one with the armor and just the top. She looked up at The White Queen, "Do you have any pants?"
The White Queen put her finger to her lips as she nodded. She went to the drawer and pulled out a pair of black pants, "This may be small for you, but-"
"When I was thirteen, I wore pants smaller than me all the time in school," Summer smiled.
Marina handed them to her, "Okay."
The White Queen left the room and Summer began to change. When Summer was done, She looked in the mirror. After a few seconds she put her hand on the glass of the mirror. She felt the shock of a memory from back in her palace. The day when Summer went mental in the storage room. She hallucinated of shadows that wanted to hurt and kill her. They came from the mirror. When one tried to jump out of the mirror, Summer punched the glass, screaming as the mirror shattered. When one of her maids came in, they frightened her and she took off a piece of the mirror and fell down sick. The memory resulted to her laying in her bed. She didn't cough up blood that day, but instead, became depressed. Summer took her hand off of the mirror and retreated. She walked out of Marina's bedroom and into the hall where she was. The White Queen smiled and together they walked down the hallway. Before they went through the doors of the throne room, The White Queen handed Summer the Vaporal sword. Summer took it in and put it in her sword hilt. The White Queen opened the doors and walked in with Summer behind her. There was a crowd of guards in the throne room as Marina stepped up the steps to her throne. Summer looked out over the sea of them as she turned around to face them.
