RWBY The Summer Rose Series Book 1- Roses in Wonderland

Chapter 15- Invasion of The Rose Kingdom.

The Red Queen walked into the throne room as Summer stood up from her seat. She was not happy. Behind her was her assistant.

"Did you want something," Summer asked.

"The book. Where is it?" Replied The Queen of Hearts.

Summer began acting, "What book? I have a million if you want to borrow one?"

"Not those books. The book with brown, gold and silver. Where is it," The Red Queen was now starting to raise her voice.

"Oh... Never seen it in my life," Summer lied. She walked down the steps and stopped at the bottom.

The Red Queen came up to her and growled, "I know you're lying. You liar. Don't you dare lie to me."

"Who's lying? I just don't know where it is."

"You mustn't lie to my queen, Queen Summer," said her assistant, "I'll slice you if you are."

"Oh really now," Summer looked at him with a grin at the cock of her head. She slid a pat of her sword out from her belt and the Red Queen jumped back.

"Get back my queen," He told the Queen of hearts, "She's skilled and she's deadly."

"Oh Knave, Don't be Deranged," Summer replied. She slid her sword back into her hilt and gave him a parental stare.

Knave looked at the queen of hearts and she nodded, "If she won't tell us, get me her head and we'll raid the castle for it."

"Gladly," Knave replied. He spun his sword to get his grip and Summer pulled out her own to defend herself by the time he tried to slash down at her head. She blocked him as their swords clashed and the fight started. When he tried to kick her she blocked with her right arm and swung her sword at him. He used his shield to block it and she used her speed to knock him down. She sped around the room and her eyes began to glow. The Queen of hearts hide behind a plant watching the fight. She watched as the two fought in the throne room.

Their swords clashed once more as Summer was cornered to the doors and Knave spoke, "Prepare to die witch."

He plunged the sword down at her, but she swung the door open, backing up the hall, "Uh, already did that buddy."

He missed her and Summer prepared her sword again. She took her grimm fighting position. He came at her once more and she slashed his cheek and used her elbow to knock his sword out of his hand as she spun herself. Summer went fast as she fought Knave. She slammed him to the floor and saw The Queen of Hearts come out into the hall. Knave got up from the floor and began to suffocate her as she put her hands under his forearm. She then kicked him in the leg with her heal and used her hands to push free from his grip. When he let go, she quickly took out a gun from the bottom of her skirts and aimed at him, as she clicked it on unprotected mode.He stopped in front of her and the gun point. Summer glared at him.

"Is that a gun," Knave asked, "Why you must be fooling?"

"When I pull this out, I'm never kidding so I suggest you back away from me and my people," Summer replied. The Red Queen came closer to Summer, but stopped halfway when Summer pointed the gun at her too. She purposely aimed passed the Red Queen and shot it. The Red Queen ducked and Knave put his hands over his ears.

"Admit it Roses. Two against one," said The Queen of Hearts.

"Until Now," said a voice. Qrow jumped in above, landing right next to Summer and The others cam in surrounding them.

Knave laughed until Ruby transformed her weapon into full scythe mode. He gasped, "The demon of death."

All of the sudden, there was the sound. The sound of a jabberwocky call. Summer panicked inside and shot the ceiling three times as the Queen of Hearts and Knave covered their ears. The ground began to shake and parts of the ceiling began to crumble.

The Red Queen and Knave the fled the hall and into the throne room. Summer immediately ran back to the study and opened a drawer taking out a bag. She then opened the tiny vault, taking out both of the items she had placed in there thirty minutes before. Just as she was stuffing in the backpack the others.

"Summer, What's going on," he asked. Summer looked up and didn't say anything as she quickly slung the bag on her back. She then turned around and opened another compartment in the safe and pulled out another sword, putting it on her belt. It was the vorpal sword Alice had. "Summer?"

"WHAT," She answered.

"What's going ON," Qrow asked her again.

Summer looked around and shut the vault door. She then turned around and and came towards them, "I'll tell you on the way, but first we need to get out of the city."

The jabberwocky roared above the castle as they followed Summer into an underground tunnel. It lit up as they followed her. Qrow then spoke, "So What's going on?"

"The Queen of Hearts. She's been keeping a watch on me ever since I was set to the throne. She's been looking to take the book of the Rose kingdom for years along with her ancestors. She set an invasion to the city because I have the book. We need to get the book to The White Queen in Marmoreal," Summer explained, "This underground tunnel will lead us to her. The Red Queen has been after so many magical items in all of the other kingdoms lately to gain power in all of Wonderland."

"Why didn't we go out there to fight the Jabberwocky and her men," Ren asked.

"Because, her men are more skilled now and my men like to take care of most of my battles," Summer replied, "What matters is the book or all of Wonderland will be in danger if the wrong intentions hit it from the inside."

"What WILL happen," Oscar asked.

Summer turned to face him, "A world of violence and cruelty. Now come on, we have to hurry." They all ran behind her through the tunnel.
