Stay for dessert?

Joeys POV

Serenity and I got to Kaibas mansion around 5:45 PM. We took her car, a little Toyota. We stopped at the front doors and someone came and took Serenity's car. I looked over at her and said "This is it are ya ready? We're gonna have dinner together, the four of us. Serenity?"
I asked.

"I'm kind of scared." Serenity whispered,

"Now, no. Serenity?" I slowed down and stopped walking, she did too. I grabbed her hand and pulled her into a hug. I rubbed her back and whispered into her ear, "Serenity, you are a beautiful woman. You are gorgeous and amazin and Mokuba is lucky to be the one with ya. Either way, you are my sister and one of my best friends. If Mokuba ever hurts you, you tell me and I'll take it up with Kaiba. I love ya sis." I kissed her hair and said "Cmon let's go."

Walking to the door, someone opened it for us and ushered us in. We took our coats off and were told to head to the dining room. Once inside, Seto walked in, looking oddly casual, wearing grey pants and a black turtleneck. He looked good. I nodded to him and he returned the gesture.

"Wheeler, I need to talk to you in private." Kaiba announced with a hiss.

"Uh. Okay? I'll be back Serenity." I said, confused as to what Kaibas issue was. Following the CEO from the room to a hallway, I had to ask, "what's going on? Is this about last night?"

"No, yes. Yes it is." Kaiba answered as he spun around on me and backed me against a wall. "Wheeler?" He purred, "What are you doing tonight?"

"Kaiba! Now, you ask me that, now?" I cried, "You sure pick the perfect time!!"

"Shut up puppy," Kaiba murmured, pushing me through a door. "Now, I want you. And this. I don't like feeling vulnerable. I'd like an answer. I need to know." He looked down at me, eyes pleading.

"You want me? Right now?" I emphasized 'now', "Kaiba, our siblings are dating and the four of us are suppose to have dinner together." I said, it looked like I hurt his feelings. "Seto, look, after dinner huh? I'll think about it. Or, Serenity can stay here, you give me a ride home, we can hang out at my house?" I offered.

Kaiba straightened up, "You're not getting off easy Wheeler, something is happening tonight. Got it?"

"Oh yeah?" I grabbed Kaiba by the hair, yanking him down to my eye level, "I'm gettin off easy. And don't call me Puppy." I said, slamming Kaibas head back. "Let's go have dinner." I walked away from Kaiba to the dining room.

"Hey, Joey! How are you?" Mokuba called to me as I entered the dining room. "I guess you've heard. Err, Joey, I- I'm sorry we didn't tell you." Mokuba trailed off, scratching his arm.

"Listen, kid?" I started, "treat Serenity good. Okay?" I grabbed his hand to shake it. "I'm hungry, let's eat."

We sat down for dinner and the conversation turned to Serenity and Mokuba.  "Wait, you've been dating for eight months? Christ, I don't notice anything."  I looked between my sister and her boyfriend, "Sorry guys. Hey, Kaiba, why didn't you tell me?"

Kaiba set his fork down and gave me a 'are you fucking stupid?' look. "I did. Why do you think you're at my house, eating dinner with my brother and I?"

I rolled my eyes, "NO SHIT." I decided right then, I couldn't do this. Standing up and walking out of the dining room, I went to go find something to drink. Something alcoholic and strong.

I went to the bar near the pool table. Walking behind the bar, I grabbed a bottle of whiskey and almost grabbed a short tumbler but decided a pint glass would be fine. Pouring myself a generous amount, I sat on the edge of the pool table. 'I should text Mai and let her know how well it's going.' Calling her instead, she answered quickly.

"Hey baby. How's your night goin? Better than mine I hope?" I joked.

"I'snot bad." Mai mumbled, "Joey, dontbe mad. Téa gotme drunk."

"Haha, no sweetie I'm not mad. Ya deserve to have fun sometimes. Im having a drink myself. I feel so dumb. How did everyone else know about these two?"

"I'm hanging out with Téa, Duke, and Tristan. We wenttoalittle club earlier. Ryou and Bakura came withus but you can guess how that went. I can't tellthe difference between em, ones sassy and the otherones nervous." Mai started laughing at herself, "withus, Jooooooeeeeyyyyy that's a funny word, withus. Sounds like walrus." She trailed off.

"Yep, you are definitely drunk." I had to laugh at her but needed to get serious, "Where are you? If you're with Téa, stay with her tonight, okay? Mai? You stay at her house. Ah shit, I gotta go, Kaiba found me."

"Waaaait lemme talk to himm!! Lemme talk to him for jussta second?"

I was laughing pretty hard, and yelled over to kaiba, "Hey rich boy, Mai wants to talk to you, quit standing there like a dickweed and get over here!" I watched Seto uncross his arms and quickly make his way to me grabbing my phone.

"This is Kaiba-"

"This's Kaiba," Mai copied him, "Kaibaland, KaibaCorp, Kaiba duel disks, hahaha Kaiba? Kaiba? Duel disks sounds like duel dicks." Mai was screeching through the phone with laughter.

Kaiba handed me back my phone without another word, "Baby, I've gotta go. You get some sleep okay? Goodnight." I hung up and slid the phone back into my pocket. Taking a sip of my drink I looked at Kaiba, who was still standing there looking expectant. "What? What's your deal?"

Kaiba inched closer to me, slowly bringing his lips to mine. They were soft but stiff. "Joey," He whispered, "your sister is staying the night, I suggest you do the same." Kaiba continued to kiss me. It was soft at first, running his tongue across my lips making my mouth open, he pushed against me. "Lets go to my bedroom."

"....okay."

To be honest, I had no problem with going to his bedroom. I wanted to go to his bedroom. I wasn't sure why. I mean, we didn't like each other.
