Seto POV

The night was a blur after the fireworks. I was remembering things, slowly. We were all in the pool and hot tub. We had fireworks. Joey and I kissed. I smiled to myself, I looked down at Joey, snoring away peacefully. What a cute puppy.

Although I didn't want to leave the warm nest that we had created together, I knew I had to. I had to go get Joey's present. Quickly getting dressed and brushing my teeth, I left the house, Roland drove me. I realized that everyone was still there from the night before. It didn't bother me anymore as much. I hated admitting it already, thinking about it, these people were also my friends and they may not agree about Joey and I, but they were supportive nonetheless.

We parked my car and walked to the small building. The owner had made an exception for me to meet early even though it was a holiday and little to none of the shops would be open. I walked in with Roland following behind me. I silently handed the sleepy eyed man an envelop and Roland grabbed the box. We headed home and had a cup of coffee together to catch up. My chefs made a king sized breakfast for everyone whenever they came around. My head hurt from the evening before so I took a few aspirin. I took the gift upstairs to the bedroom and opened it.

A six week old Saint Bernard Puppy waddled out. I picked the small ball of fluff up and set it on the bed. It whimpered and tried to chase me. I pointed it towards Joey and it followed my lead. The pup started licking Joeys arm and then moved up to his face.

"Ya know you're insatiable," Joey mumbled sleepily.

"Am I? Wake up Pup." I whispered.

Joeys eyes fluttered open and he screamed a happy scream. "OH MY GOD! SETO!? Ya got me a dog????? Oh! Look at its little feet! Look at its tail!! It's so fluffy!!! OH MY GOD." Joey was screaming. He picked up the pup and hugged it tightly.

I sat down on the edge of the bed, "I know you want to be a Dad and I was hoping this would be suitable for now."

"You're right. It is. How did ya know I've always wanted one of these giant fluffy dogs?" Joey looked at me, eyes sparkling.

"Lucky guess." I smiled. "So you need to walk him and train him."

"Yeah yeah. He's so adorable. How did ya get him?" Joey didn't take his eyes off the ball of fluff.

"Well a family had him but didn't realize how large he would get, we simply took him off their hands. Listen, I agree with you about being parents. Maybe. I think this is a good start though." I reached to pet the dog.

"What's his name?"

"I wanted you to decide that." I smiled at Joey, "not Beethoven though."

"Pfff. I wouldn't name him that. I'm not sure, we'll think of a name though. Ya know these dogs have a lot of hair? Like a lot, Seto."

"Good thing you're a house dog yourself, huh?" Seto smirked.

"Funny guy, come here little puppy." Joey cooed.

"Get dressed, let's take him downstairs."

"Fine," Joey huffed.

"There's breakfast for you." I sweetened the deal. Joey was dressed quickly and carried the pup down to the kitchen where we grabbed a cup of coffee each. Joey grabbed a bagel and his hoodie, we headed out to one of the back doors. "You can set him down, the yard is fenced in. Plus I'm sure he likes the snow." I said softly.

Joey set the small fluffy ball of fur on the ground, he took off like a rocket! "Ha! Let's name him Fuzz." My husband looked at me.

"Fuzz Kaiba? That's fine with me. We can get him tags and toys and everything." I took Joeys hand and rubbed it. "Fuzz is going to have two fathers though."
