So,in my house, when we go grocery shopping, me and my siblings each get our own 12-pack of sodas to last us for the next two weeks.
I always get Dr Pepper and my brothers always pick some random soda.
But everytime that people come over and they ask for a drink, mine are offered to guests.
And usually I don't mind. I don't drink soda as often as the boys so it's okay to lose a few.
But I went into the kitchen before dinner and I had one soda left. I was like: ok welp guess I'm out. Moms shopping on Tuesday so it's fine.
I took this soda, poured it into a cup a of ice(because who wants hot soda?) and set it on the dining room table. We ate dinner and we all went our separate ways. I took like four sips of this drink okay?
I set it down on the coffee table in the living room and I went to the bathroom. I was gone for three minutes tops.
I come back, and the cup is empty.
I asked my brother if he drank it and he smiled innocently and goes: oops
And I was like "dude that was the last one!"
And he was like "too bad I guess"
My mom was standing in the kitchen and she overheard and asked what was going on.
I told her that my brother drank my drink and she goes "too bad. It's just a drink."
And I got angry and half yelled "it was my last one!"
And my brother just goes "oh my god if it bothers you that much go walk to the gas station down the street and buy another!"
I just stormed out and went into my room.
So I feel like a baby because I got angry over a Dr Pepper but my stuff is always given away to people and I'm expected to be okay with it.
Like, everytime family stays over, I'm forced to sleep in the living room so they can sleep in my bed. Or when someone needs to borrow a phone charger, they take mine(even if I'm using it!). And if someone had to borrow money, it's always "go ask Ally! She saves her money so she has plenty! Tell her I'll pay her back!"
And I never get paid back.
I literally feel stupid for getting so upset over this but I'm literally sick and tired of having to give up my things or have things stolen from me with no consequences.
