Heather's perspective

Christmas.

Christmas is what everyone is talking about, everywhere I go, all of the people just keep talking about Christmas, and how important it is. So important that it makes the traffic even worse. You'd be asking "Heather! Shouldn't you at least be excited about Christmas?" well, yeah I am, but if I will every day like this because of an event that starts around the end of December, then well fuck it.

I mean. It's the middle of November people! Like there is no need to rush, there is like a lot of time in our hands, yet it seems that people are wasting all their money because of this event. Yeah, I like it and all, but geez Louise!

I never spent Christmas, anyways. My parents are too busy with their companies to give their daughter a little time in their lives, so there is literally no need for me to buy some plastic tree off of Walmart and decorate it and put some stupid gifts that probably will be given to no one.

Mac convinced me to spend it with her, but I politely decline. I will rather be that person who sits on her rooftop and sees the snowfall from the sky because I rather not be a burden to a friend of mine that I open my mind to.

So here I am just casually sitting on a bench, eating down some doughnuts paired with hot chocolate in the park, while people are chatting their lives away with their friends, or some kissing either boyfriends or girlfriends and enjoying their time. While I am just gonna sit here till something special happens like someone pops out of nowhere and starts talking to me.

Luckily that came true.

Now I'm talking to Betty, and if you are wondering what we are talking about, well we're just talking about the usual school talk. Like most normal people do. I smiled and we both kept chatting till late at night, and I asked her if she wanted a ride home. She just nodded, and we both went home safely.
