[Chap 18] Murder Mystery

Me and Kathleen drove to the police station as I got a call from the police. They said that it was an emergency.
When we arrived we got seated to a room with one policeman.
Kathleen didn't get to be with me, because they said it could be very personal. But I already planned to tell her when I was done.
"So Mr. Eacott, do you really know who Ms. (your last name) is?" The policeman ask
"Eh, no? I only know that she is from Sweden and have done youtube for about 1 year?" I answer
"Well, it seems like her parents has involved some criminals..." he say
"How? Is it dangerous?" I ask worried
"We are not sure. But it seems like her parents have just vanished from the earth. No one knows where they are right now."
"So what does it mean?"
"It means that this car crash, might have been a try for murder" he say
My jaw drop.
Someone tried to murder my girlfriend?
But why?

"Why?" I ask
"We are not sure. Maybe it was revenge from the past? Or maybe to lure her parents out to the surface? Who know? But the person who did this is surely a professional. He knew exactly where to hit the car to make damage to her." The policeman say
"So it wasn't an accident?" I ask
"No, this is a try for murdering. The driver was driving wrong on the street. No one drives from the right side here in Australia. But do you know something about her?"
"I've never heard her talking about her parents or her background. I only know that she moved to Italy when she was 16. Then she moved to America when she was 19. And she moved here for about 1 month ago?" I say
"Hm, 16 and moving to an another country all by herself?" The policeman say
"Do you know if she has any siblings? I've never asked her before."
"I know that she have a brother, but he have also vanished from the earth."

When we are done talking, I'm just speechless. What is y/n's actual background? Is she some criminal herself? No, she has a youtube, there's no way. But her parents? Maybe they were? And she have a brother?"
All if these questions, but no answer to any of them. If she wakes up, I'm going to need her to tell me. Otherwise, I can't trust her.
When I get out, I tell Kathleen everything. She is just as speechless as me. I tell her last about that this "accident" was actually a try for murder. This all became a murder mystery...
