August 22nd, 7:33 p.m.

You brush off your evening attire, glancing over your sleek figure in the body length mirror. You hate to admit it, but this dress that Bell gave you really does create some flattering lines for you. She said she'd never be able to fit into it again after getting pregnant, but she shed away the baby weight easily. You offered the dress back to her, but she declined, expressing how much better it looked on you.

You thought you'd never have an excuse to wear it. You've never been much for pageantry and dressing up. But after telling Jack of the plans for the night, he suggested you wear it. You didnt think much of it, considering how much he enjoys the eye candy.

He slinks into the room, smiling from ear to ear in his sharp suit. He steps behind you, wrapping his arms around your middle, placing his scruffy chin against your shoulder, his eyes trailing up and down you in the mirror.

"You look beautiful, pet." He whispers as he brushed the hair away from your neck and shoulders, giving you goosebumps. You hum contently, his lips brushing innocently against your skin.

"Careful of the makeup." You tease, guesturing at your neck. He chuckles, taking a playful nibble at your shoulder, causing you to sqeak.

"You're an ass." You play, your eyes locked with his in the mirror as your reach back to graze his cheek with your hand.

"A rather dashing one at that." You wink at him. His grin grows in response as he releases you.

"Come on, we gotta go grab Mark." He says, taking hold of your bruised hand softly to avoid injuring it further. You feel your eyebrows lift.

"How hard was it to convince him to come?" You ask curiously, wk
Ondering how Jack could get him on board when you most likely wouldnt have been able to. Jack smiles mysteriously.

"It wasnt that hard at all." He casuslly responds, your heart falling into your shoes with the response. Mark prbably wouldnt have agreed if youd asked him, and for some reason, it hurts a bit that he said yes to Jack so easily. Maybe Mark just felt obligated to after the past few days? You shrug away the saddness, reminding yourself that tonight is a celebration.

Jack leads you over to Mark's door, knocking to get his attention. Mark steps out, still buttoning up a pressed white shirt. His blue jeans went well with it, making him look laid back and formal all in one. He smiles warmly at you and Jack lead him over to the car.

Jack drives the two of you over to Bell's, arriving right on time. Bell swings open the door for you excitedly, a long beautiful lavender dress falling to her feet and fitting her figure wonderfully.

"Come in, come in!" She squeals, greeting all of you with a hug as you file inside.

Richard holds Lyv on his hip, his own lavender button down going well with a pair of pressed kahkies. Lyvelle's pink tule dress made her chocolate skin beam, along with the little glittery brett in her dark hair.

She reaches to you excitedly. You take her and rub your nose on hers.

"You're the cutest one here!" You tell her, earning agreements from the whole room. Bell rushes into the kitchen, presumably setting the table. Richard falls into a conversation with Jack, and Mark strides over to you, an odd smile smeared across his face.

"Whats got you so jolly?" You question, rocking Lyv back and forth. Mark reaches over and shakes her hand with his finger. She simply stares st him untill he contorts his face, causing her to explode wih giggles.

"Its just a good night, thats all." Mark mysteriously responds, giving you a engimatic glance.

"I dont disagree with you, but may I ask why?" You chuckle, trying to get him to spill the beans. Lyv reahes out to him and he takes her, cautiously holding her directly out in front of his concentrated face. She instantly makes a grab for his glasses and he chuckles, placing her at his side.
